The time we met

It started with three words that changed everything: "That’s not fair!"

Lexi was sitting staring at her screen, a sudden burst of frustration pushing her to send the message. She didn’t entirely know what to expect when she hit send, but she knew she couldn’t just keep it to herself.

On the other end, Rhyan saw the notification pop up. Out of all the opening lines, all the casual "hellos" or polite small talk that usually fills a screen, this was completely different. It was bold, full of energy, and immediately caught Rhyan's attention. A smile crept onto Rhyan's face while reading those words. There was an instant spark of curiosity.who was this person who wasn't afraid to speak their mind right from the jump?

Instead of being thrown off, Rhyan jumped right into the conversation, eager to figure out exactly what wasn't fair and, more importantly, who Lexi was.

What started as a sudden, impulsive message instantly turned into something much bigger. The typing bubbles didn't stop. They matched each other's energy perfectly, trading messages back and forth like they had known each other for years instead of just minutes. The initial frustration melted away into banter, laughter, and a strange, comfortable certainty that this wasn't just a random internet interaction.

By the time the first conversation finally slowed down, both of them knew everything had shifted. Lexi’s accidental, fiery opener had broken down all the usual awkward barriers of meeting someone new. They didn't need a slow introduction. From that very first night, Mihe—the story of Lexi and Rhyan had officially, unforgettable begun.

They started flirting non-stop

Bloodlines

lblomme: I always love a story where good overcomes evil. The sad start, the growth, and ultimate strength of the main character was well done. The story never lagged and ultimately delivered a happy ending even for characters who were less than stellar. Well done!
