Hello, everyone! Alternate Reality takes place in a world similar to the one in my other book, Silent Prince. You don’t need to read Silent Prince to understand this story. This series will be told through short books, with explanations provided as the story unfolds. If you’re curious about certain characters’ deeper backstories, feel free to check out Silent Prince.
This story hasn’t been heavily edited yet. I’ve tried to keep things clear, but please let me know if anything becomes confusing. If the series gains enough interest, I hope to invest in professional editing.

Alternate Reality is about:
Dotty dreams of becoming a chef and sharing the warmth she has always found in food. A job at an eccentric burger restaurant seems like the perfect beginning—especially when she grows close to Petter, its strange, eager-to-please manager.
But behind Petter’s sharp-toothed smiles lies a life controlled by his father. As Dotty tries to help him, her own home begins falling apart, and vivid dreams draw her into the childhood of a girl named Sunny. Surrounded by an unfamiliar yet loving family, Dotty finds comfort—and unsettling similarities she cannot explain.
Then reality begins to crack.
With memories slipping and their lives subject to someone else’s plans, Dotty and Petter must uncover why they feel they have met before—and whether the people they call family have told them the truth.
