Summary

“Ten Years Apart” follows Sarah as she returns to her hometown one summer weekend and runs into her childhood love. She is reminded of all of the events that unfolded years ago in this very town. The love interest Mitchell insists on them getting back together but Sarah is hesitant due to the secrets she has kept from him all this time. Follow their journey by hearing both of their points of view and experiencing their past while they re-live it. I hope you look into this further and fall in love with the main character Sarah just like I have.

Untitled chapter 1

Ten Years Apart

Written By: Glorianna Kittredge

I wish I could go back in time and change the past. Maybe, we’d be spending a life together instead of apart.

Dedication To AJ

AJ you came into my life when I had hit rock bottom. I had been fired from my job, dropped out of school, was diagnosed with depression, and pushed everyone else out of my life. But, I couldn’t push you away. You wouldn’t let me. You have always been there for me even when you were over a hundred miles away. You have always let me be myself without any judgment, you support my dreams and encourage me to do better. You have shown me that you will always be there for me when I need you. You have proven that with hard work and determination I can do anything. You are an amazing role model and my very best friend.

Preface

I didn’t want to die. This event wasn’t premeditated. I didn’t plan to pick up the bottle of pills, twist open the bottle, and swallow. I just wanted the pain to go away. That never-ending, gut wrenching, heart breaking pain. I just wanted to sleep, sleep until everything was back to normal. Back to how it was before my whole world came crashing down. I opened the container and poured the bottle of pills into my mouth. I choked them down and sat on the cold bathroom floor, crying until everything went black.
