The Heart Of A Woman Is Not Like The Heart Of A..
CHAPTER 1: The Heart of a Woman Is Not Like The Heart of a Man
The heart of a man and the heart of a woman do not beat the same.
A man's heart can compartmentalize. He can love you in one room of his heart and betray you in another room, and still sleep at night. He can tell himself that what he did over there has nothing to do with what he feels over here.
A woman cannot.
A woman's heart does not have compartments. It has one room, and everything lives in that one room. When she loves you, she loves you with her entire house. Her body is in that room, her soul is in that room, her future is in that room, her prayers are in that room. That is why when you break one corner of her heart, the whole house collapses.
You think she is overreacting when she cries over a late text, over a lie, over another woman's comment. You do not understand — she is not crying over a text. She is crying because that text entered the one room where her entire soul lives. In that room, there is no such thing as a small wound. Every wound touches everything.
The heart of a woman was designed by God to be deep. Deeper than yours. She was designed to carry children in her body and carry pain in her heart without dying. She was designed to feel what you ignore. To notice what you dismiss. To remember what you forget.
That is why God said, treat her with understanding. Not because she is weak, but because her heart is built differently. It is built to feel the full weight of love and the full weight of betrayal.
If you must love a woman, learn her heart first. Do not study her body before you study her heart. Because her body will give you a night, but her heart will give you a lifetime — if you protect it.
