SHE LOVES LOVE

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

She’s been in love eleven times. None of them loved her back. Brooks Sarang loves love. The first nervous text. The way someone remembers how you take your coffee. Old couples holding hands at the grocery store. Half Korean, half American, a brilliant anesthesiologist with braids and a laugh that fills a room, she has spent her whole life being someone’s almost. So she signs up for Honors Island, Korea’s hottest dating show: ten graduates of the country’s top universities, rough camps, ruthless games, a billion-won prize pool, and a glass villa called Paradise for couples who choose each other. On day one she meets Yoon Jaehyun, a quiet neurosurgeon who remembers her humming through a 2 a.m. surgery years ago. The spark is instant. Then he walks up the hill to Paradise with someone else. Now Jaehyun will do anything to win her back. But with bombshells arriving, viewers voting, and a perfect surgeon from his world sent to claim him, Sarang has to decide: keep clapping from the sidelines, or finally fight for the love she’s always believed in. Funny, swoony and full of heart, a reality-TV romance about coming second, being passed over, and learning you were made exactly right all along.

Silver's Second Chance

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
