CHARACTER INTRODUCTION

### ♡ THE BOY NEXT DOOR ♡

Childhood Best Friends to Lovers | Soft Romance | Family | Humour | Slow Burn

"Maybe some people are written into your life so early that you don't even realise when friendship turns into love."

### ✧ CHARACTER INTRODUCTION ✧

### 🌷 Meher Fatima Khan

Age: 21

Meher is a sweet, soft-hearted, and slightly dramatic girl who lives with her family in Hyderabad. She loves reading romantic novels, collecting cute things, making chai at midnight, and talking endlessly about the most random things. She's stubborn when she's upset, sensitive when she's hurt, and terrible at hiding her feelings from people who know her well.

She's currently pursuing her bachelor's degree and dreams of having a peaceful life filled with love, laughter, and a beautiful little home.

Her biggest problem? She argues with Sameer over literally everything.

And her second biggest problem? She doesn't realise that the boy she calls "the most irritating person alive" is slowly becoming the person she wants beside her forever.

### 🤍 Sameer Ahmed Mirza

Age: 23

Sameer is the quiet, caring, teasing kind of guy who doesn't express his feelings easily but remembers every little thing about the people he loves. He's working at his father's construction firm while completing a few professional courses.

He's tall, has slightly messy hair, a warm smile, and the patience of a saint when it comes to Meher.

Almost a saint.

Because when she steals his food for the hundredth time, even his patience has its limits.

He's protective without being controlling, responsible around his family, and secretly very soft when it comes to Meher. Everyone thinks he's a sensible young man.

Everyone except Meher, who believes he has the emotional maturity of a five-year-old.

### ✧ THE KHAN FAMILY ✧

* Imran Khan (49) — Meher's father. A hardworking businessman who loves his children deeply. He's calm, wise, and has a habit of pretending he doesn't notice things that he has absolutely noticed.

* Sana Khan (45) — Meher's mother. A loving homemaker who believes food can solve almost every problem. She adores Sameer and treats him like her own son.

* Ayaan Khan (26) — Meher's older brother. A software engineer who is extremely protective of his sisters and enjoys threatening Sameer for absolutely no reason.

* Zoya Khan (17) — Meher's younger sister. A mischievous schoolgirl who knows everyone's secrets and considers teasing Meher her life's purpose.

* Amina Begum (73) — Meher's grandmother, affectionately called Ammi Jaan. She's wise, funny, and usually understands what's happening before anyone else does.

### ✧ THE MIRZA FAMILY ✧

* Farhan Mirza (52) — Sameer's father. A respectable businessman who values honesty, responsibility, and family.

* Nadia Mirza (47) — Sameer's mother. A warm, affectionate woman who has known Meher since childhood and already considers her part of the family.

* Hiba Mirza (20) — Sameer's younger sister. A university student, professional troublemaker, and Meher's partner in teasing Sameer.

The Khans and the Mirzas live next door to each other. Their families have been close for years, sharing meals, celebrating Eid together, and walking into each other's homes without needing an invitation.

And right in the middle of this beautiful chaos are Meher and Sameer.

Two childhood best friends.

Two people who know almost everything about each other.

And two complete idiots who haven't yet figured out that they're falling in love.

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel
