Chapter 1
NITRAX – THE BEGINNING OF THE MYSTERY
PART 1 – THE BEGINNING
A grand public exhibition was underway in Tamil Nadu. Giant Ferris wheels reached towards the sky. Amusement rides, food stalls, colourful lights, and countless attractions filled the exhibition grounds. The air was alive with people's laughter and cheerful conversations. Families were happily exploring the exhibition, enjoying their time together.
But at that very moment, the sound of gunfire suddenly shattered the atmosphere.
A rapid burst of gunshots echoed through the exhibition grounds. Within seconds, the joyful atmosphere turned into a horrifying nightmare. People began running desperately for their lives. Some screamed in panic, desperately searching for their family members.
The attack claimed the lives of 682 people.
Even police officers who had been deployed for security lay dead after being caught in the gunfire. Ambulances rushed to the scene, continuously transporting the bodies of the victims.
As soon as he received news of the shooting, District Superintendent of Police SP Dheeran rushed to the scene.
He was shocked by the horrifying sight of hundreds of people lying dead and the devastation surrounding him.
Determined to understand what had happened and how the attack had begun, Dheeran examined the footage recorded by the CCTV cameras installed around the exhibition grounds.
As he watched the recordings, something strange caught his attention.
The footage seemed to show that the gunfire had originated from the top of a tall tower-like structure. A vague silhouette could be seen standing on top of the tower, apparently holding a gun and firing at the crowd.
However, the footage was far from clear. The person's appearance was indistinct, and there was no way to identify the face or any other recognisable features.
Dheeran was left completely puzzled.
"To kill 682 people, there must have been a large group of attackers armed with numerous weapons. At least ten or twenty people would have needed to open fire using AK-type rifles to cause casualties on such a massive scale.
"But the CCTV footage shows only a single figure firing from the top of the tower. Even that figure is so unclear that we cannot identify who it is!
"Then how could a single person possibly kill so many people? And what kind of weapon did he use?"
Dheeran was overwhelmed with questions.
He then approached the police officers and forensic experts present at the scene and asked whether they had discovered any clues.
They showed him an unusual bullet unlike anything they had ever encountered before.
"Sir, we have never seen a bullet like this in our entire careers," they said.
Dheeran took the bullet from them and examined it carefully. He then took a photograph of it using his mobile phone.
A moment later, he opened Google and searched for the bullet using the photograph.
However, Google failed to provide any useful information. Instead, the search returned a message:
"No results found matching this image."
Even Google could not identify what type of bullet it was.
Dheeran then sent the photograph of the mysterious bullet to his military friend, who had extensive knowledge of weapons, as well as several other experts he knew.
One by one, they examined the photograph and gave him the same response. None of them had ever seen a bullet like this before. It did not resemble any conventional ammunition used in India or any type of bullet they were familiar with.
Their responses left Dheeran even more shocked.
A total of 682 people had lost their lives, yet the ammunition used in the attack did not belong to any known category of bullets in India.
Who had carried out this attack? How had they managed to kill so many people?
These questions began haunting him.
The forensic experts also confirmed that the bullets recovered from the crime scene were unlike ordinary ammunition.
Dheeran consulted several scientists and a senior forensic expert, hoping to uncover the truth. But even after extensive discussions and examinations, none of them could provide a clear explanation about the mysterious bullets.
Determined to find answers, Dheeran continued his investigation, travelling to different places and meeting various specialists.
He questioned forensic experts, senior police officers, and people with extensive knowledge of weapons. Yet, no one could identify the bullets or determine where they had been manufactured.
Eventually, the case was transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Two CBI officers, Arjun Varma and Karan Pratap, joined SP Dheeran in investigating the case.
The three officers explored every possible angle. They searched everywhere and followed every lead they could find. But nothing provided a definite clue.
Days passed, yet they remained unable to discover where the mysterious bullets had come from or who had used them.
Meanwhile, pressure on the Indian government began mounting from the public and the media, as the real perpetrators remained unidentified.
News channels repeatedly questioned the authorities, demanding to know why the attackers had still not been caught.
Unable to identify the real culprits and desperate to calm the public and reduce media pressure, the Indian government secretly orchestrated a deception.
A fake group consisting of ten people was created and presented as the terrorist organisation responsible for the massacre.
The members of this group came forward, claiming responsibility for the shooting.
"This organisation was responsible for the attack," they declared before surrendering.
Believing that the perpetrators had finally been caught, the public gradually calmed down. The relentless questions from the media also began to fade.
But the truth remained buried.
Unable to find the real criminals despite searching in every possible direction, Dheeran returned home, deeply troubled and confused.
As he entered the house, his wife, Chitra, welcomed him.
"Where is our son, Dhruv?" Dheeran asked.
Chitra replied,
"He's sitting inside his room as usual, playing games on his mobile phone. He's always glued to that phone. Go and see him in his room."
DHRUV'S MYSTERIOUS GAME
Dheeran walked into his son Dhruv's room.
He affectionately hugged him and watched the game he was playing.
On the screen, strange-looking creatures were carrying guns and rapidly shooting at people.
"What game is this?" Dheeran asked.
"It's an alien game, Dad! It's a war between aliens and humans. The aliens in this game look very different from anything you've ever seen," Dhruv explained enthusiastically.
Dheeran carefully observed the appearance of the aliens on the screen and the weapons they were using.
Something about them caught his attention. Their appearance and weapons reminded him of the mysterious bullets and the deadly attack he had been investigating.
A question immediately arose in his mind.
Who had created this game? And what was the inspiration behind designing such unusual alien creatures and weapons?
Dheeran decided to find out.
THE GAME DEVELOPER – THIRUVASAN
Dheeran first visited the office of the company that had developed the game.
He questioned the staff about who had created it.
"Sir, this game was developed by a young man named Thiruvasan. We can provide you with his address," they replied.
After obtaining the address, Dheeran went to meet Thiruvasan.
As soon as he met him, Dheeran began asking questions.
"How did you develop this game? What was the idea behind designing it? Where did you get the designs for the aliens and their weapons?"
Thiruvasan began explaining.
"Sir, I have seen several reports, photographs, and information about a secret location in America known as Area 51.
"Many reports claim that aliens exist there and that the American government secretly preserves objects, weapons, and other materials connected to them.
"I used the images and information available in those reports as the foundation for designing the aliens and their weapons in my game."
The moment Dheeran heard the name Area 51, a new suspicion arose in his mind.
Could there be a connection between the mysterious bullets he had been investigating and the alien weapons supposedly kept at Area 51?
He felt that he might find some clues there. However, he also realised that contacting such a highly secretive location directly would not be easy.
PROFESSOR MAAN – THE GOVERNMENT'S SCIENTIFIC ADVISER
Professor Maan was serving as the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Indian Central Government.
He held an important position, advising government ministers and security officials on complex matters involving science and national security.
Dheeran thought that Professor Maan might know how to approach a highly classified location like Area 51.
Dheeran, accompanied by CBI officers Arjun Varma and Karan Pratap, went to meet Professor Maan.
He explained everything about the mysterious bullets and requested his help in contacting Area 51 to obtain information.
However, Maan responded differently than they had expected.
"This case has already been closed. People have returned to their normal lives. In reality, the government itself created a fake group of ten people to suppress public anger. They were made to take responsibility for the attacks and surrender.
"After that, the public became calm.
"Do not reopen this case again. Just focus on your own work."
Dheeran immediately responded.
"Sir, this is not an ordinary case. We must identify the real culprits before another attack takes place.
"We haven't found even a single proper clue about these mysterious bullets. If you help us contact Area 51, we might obtain some valuable information from there."
But Professor Maan refused.
"Contacting Area 51 in America is not that simple. It is an extremely secretive facility, and gaining access to it is practically impossible.
"Do not attempt to reopen this case again," he said firmly.
Dheeran, Arjun Varma, and Karan Pratap tried several times to convince him. But Maan refused to change his decision.
Disappointed by the lack of support, the three officers left his office.
Professor Maan's refusal brought their investigation to a standstill.
With the real culprit still at large, Dheeran was increasingly worried.
Would they be able to prevent another attack before it was too late?
THE SECOND ATTACK – MARINA BEACH
Before the mystery surrounding the first attack could be solved, another horrifying incident took place.
This time, the attack occurred at Marina Beach.
A total of 432 innocent people, including children, were killed in the second attack.
SP Dheeran, along with CBI officers Arjun Varma and Karan Pratap, immediately began investigating the incident.
The bodies of the victims were scattered across Marina Beach.
As they examined the crime scene, the investigators received information suggesting that the shooting might have originated from a mobile phone tower located approximately five kilometres away from Marina Beach.
According to the initial findings, the attackers had fired towards the beach from that distant tower.
Dheeran was once again left bewildered.
How could someone shoot with such precision from a distance of five kilometres?
Even identifying and accurately targeting people from such a distance seemed unbelievable.
Even a highly skilled sniper would find it extremely difficult to carry out an attack of this nature from such a distance.
Dheeran struggled to understand how such a thing could have happened.
Meanwhile, the forensic team began examining the bullets recovered from Marina Beach and comparing them with the bullets collected from the first attack.
Their findings were shocking.
Both incidents involved exactly the same type of mysterious bullets.
"The bullets recovered from the first attack are identical to these!" Dheeran exclaimed in shock.
Arjun Varma and Karan Pratap examined the bullets and looked at Dheeran in astonishment.
The shooting believed to have originated from a tower five kilometres away, combined with the discovery of the same mysterious bullets used in the first attack, clearly indicated that both incidents were connected.
But what was the connection?
And who was behind these attacks?
The three officers were once again left without answers.
"Before this case becomes even more complicated, we should meet Professor Maan again and speak to him," Dheeran said.
RETURNING TO PROFESSOR MAAN
Following the second attack at Marina Beach, SP Dheeran and the two CBI officers, Arjun Varma and Karan Pratap, once again went to meet Professor Maan.
This time, they were determined to convince him.
"Sir, another attack has taken place, and hundreds of people have been killed. Even innocent children have lost their lives.
"As we requested earlier, if we could obtain permission to visit Area 51, we might find some clues about these mysterious bullets.
"Please help us, sir," they pleaded.
PERMISSION GRANTED
This time, Professor Maan finally agreed to help them.
He contacted senior officials in the Indian government and explained the situation.
Following his request, the Indian government approached the American government.
"Two mysterious attacks have taken place in India. In both incidents, identical bullets have been recovered, and their origin remains unknown.
"Three officers investigating this case — SP Dheeran, Arjun Varma, and Karan Pratap — wish to visit Area 51 to investigate whether any clues related to these mysterious bullets can be found there.
"Would it be possible to grant them permission to enter the facility?"
The American government carefully reviewed the details of both attacks in India, along with the information regarding the unidentified bullets.
After considering the request, the United States government granted all three officers permission to visit Area 51.
Professor Maan immediately informed Dheeran and the two CBI officers.
"Your permission has been granted. Go to Area 51, investigate whether you can find any clues about these mysterious bullets, and return with whatever information you discover."
The three officers were finally one step closer to uncovering the truth.
THE JOURNEY TO AREA 51
The following day, the three officers departed for the United States.
As soon as they arrived at Area 51, they were astonished by the extraordinary security arrangements.
Multiple layers of security checkpoints, heavily armed guards, and intense surveillance made it clear that this was one of the most secretive facilities in the world.
As they proceeded further inside, they noticed warning signs and unusual images referring to aliens and extraterrestrial encounters.
The three officers looked at each other in amazement.
"We always thought all these things were nothing more than fictional stories. But does Area 51 really hold secrets about aliens?" they wondered.
Just then, an American official approached them.
"You have come here to investigate the two mysterious attacks that took place in India, haven't you?" he asked.
The three officers nodded.
The official continued,
"There may be some important information here regarding the mysterious bullets you are searching for."
THE MYSTERY CONTINUES...
The first attack had claimed 682 lives.
The second attack had killed another 432 people.
And in both incidents, the bullets recovered were unlike anything the world had ever identified.
The second attack was even more unbelievable. The shooting was believed to have originated from a tower located approximately five kilometres away from Marina Beach.
Who was responsible for these horrifying murders?
Why were these attacks carried out?
And who had manufactured these mysterious bullets?
Would Area 51 finally provide answers to these questions?
Would Dheeran and the other two officers discover the clues they had been desperately searching for?
Or were they about to encounter an even greater mystery than they had ever imagined?
To unlock the next door of this mystery, join us in the next episode...
