Summary

Livi was only seven when the Bellini family moved into her neighbourhood. They had a daughter named Rex, who was a year older than her. Livi tried many times to talk to Rex, but she always ignored her. Later, they ended up in the same school and class. Rex always sat alone at the last desk, while other students bullied her. Chapter 1

INTRODUCTION

FLASHBACK-

‎

I was only seven when the Bellini family

moved into our neighbourhood. They were quite strange. They barely spoke to anyone.

‎They had a daughter named Rex, who was a year older than me. I tried talking to her several times, but she always avoided me. At first, I thought she was just shy, but gradually, I realised that she simply wasn't interested in talking to me.

‎Her father was just like her.

‎A few days later, Rex started attending my school. Surprisingly, we were in the same class. She always sat alone at the last desk.

‎The other students would often bully her, but she never said a word.

‎I would often find myself watching her. Once, our eyes even met.

‎But ever since that day, she has never looked my way again.

‎

FLASHBACK END-

Years have passed, and now we're both in 11th grade.
