Horizon between us
The year was 2050.
Far above Earth, beyond the blue clouds and crowded cities, the orbital research station Aurora-7 floated silently through space. It was one of humanity's most advanced scientific stations, built to study the planets of the Solar System.
Inside a glass-walled laboratory, Dr. Leo Hart stared at a stream of numbers moving across a holographic screen.
Leo was twenty-nine years old, a brilliant thermodynamics scientist. While most researchers focused on Mars or distant moons, Leo had dedicated his life to studying Venus.
To most people, Venus was a nightmare.
The surface temperature was over 460 degrees Celsius. Toxic clouds filled its sky. The pressure was crushing enough to flatten ordinary spacecraft.
But Leo saw something beautiful hidden beneath the danger.
He believed Venus still held secrets that could change humanity's understanding of energy.
Every day, he monitored thousands of sensors placed around Venus. They measured heat flow, atmospheric pressure, and strange thermal reactions occurring deep beneath the planet's surface.
Leo often worked alone.
The station was filled with scientists, but few shared his passion for Venus.
Sometimes he felt lonely.
Sometimes he wondered if anyone on Venus was actually listening.
Of course, nobody could live there.
At least, that was what Earth believed.
Late one evening, Leo sat by the observation window. Earth glowed beneath him like a giant sapphire.
He began recording another research transmission.
"Venus thermal report, day 1425," he said.
His calm voice echoed through the room.
"The underground heat currents continue to behave unpredictably. There appears to be a repeating pattern every thirty-one hours."
He uploaded the data toward Venus.
The signal vanished into space.
Leo leaned back in his chair.
"Maybe one day someone will solve this mystery," he whispered.
Then he laughed at himself.
There was nobody there.
Or so he thought.
Millions of kilometers away, beneath Venus's deadly surface, hidden deep underground, another scientist was working.
And destiny was already moving.
It's my 1st story hope readers will love it
