Years Later...

You work with children at a daycare. Slowly your class starts to fill up.

You: Good Morning kiddos!

You say with the brightest smile. The kids respond waving in your direction.

Kids: Hello! Teacher!

You begin class by reading a book out loud. Then its arts & crafts. A few hours pass and its nap time. You make sure all the kids are sleeping. Afterward, you head to your desk pulling out your cellphone and plugging in your earphones playing the last episode of run! BTS. Longer hours fly by. You go over spelling with the kids, and as they’re practicing something catches your eye.

You: Taewoo can you come here for a second

The little boy heads your way. He stands right in front of you and you smile. He smiles back. You look at his T-shirt. It’s white, the front has the numbers 06 in black and the back has the number 95 in black with the letter V at the very top. Your smile widens.

You: I like your t-shirt Taewoo. A lot

Taewoo: Thank You!! It looks just like my daddy’s!!

You’re to dazed about his shirt to hear his last sentence. Minutes pass and your class slowly empties. Your finishing up a conversation with a parent when you hear a familiar deep voice.

Voice: Yah! Taewoo lets go home, mom made dinner

You turn in the direction of the voice and see Kim Taehyung of BTS holding his son’s backpack and hand. Just before they leave, you walk up to them.

You: V? Is that really you?

You look at him with tears in your eyes. He smiles that boxy smile you remember so dearly. His own tears prickling his eyes.

V: You’re ARMY?

You nod, a smile tugging at your lips from disbelief. He looks at you with tears threatening to fall. You look down at Taewoo and let out a small laugh as you wipe away your tears. You look back up at V in awe.

V: Thank you! Thank you SO much for the most amazing years of my life.

He takes hold of your hand squeezing it with. You both bow and he leaves. The class is now empty. You squat down and cry. You laugh, there is another little alien.

*Bonus*

Taehyung takes hold of his son’s hand making sure the boy can’t let go.

Taewoo: Daddy, is teacher one of your fans? Teacher told me they really like my shirt, and I told her it looks just like yours!

Taehyung smiles down at his son. The boys smile so very contagious.

V: Yes, it looks just like mine. Are you excited to see uncle Jimin?

The boy jumps up and down in excitement, to see his uncle. Taehyung can't help but smile at reuniting with his fellow 95 liner.
