They entered her room. Saw her sitting on the bed near the window; looking out. None could accept the change. They looked astonished. She didn’t see them. She was already drowned in the sea of depression. Adaline sat next to her. Breaking the verbal and emotional silence she called out ” Mia”.. Mia trembled as she woke up from a worst dream. She looked at everyone, as it was her first meeting with them. Everyone smiled at her but none got it back. Hia asked ” Can we go for a walk?“.
Everyone agreed, except Mia.
Adaline stood up and went near Brian and murmured something. A little while later he slowly went near Mia , held her palm and said “come let’s go”.
She gave a disapproval look at him. They became hopeless again. But after a while to their surprise she agreed to join them, even though she was not ready to.
" What is your opinion about going for a long drive?” Reynard the last member of the group asked Mia. She smiled, it didn’t look like a pleasant one but more like contempt. They didn’t understand what she meant.
" Let’s wait downstairs, let her get ready” said Adaline.
They went downstairs and waited so long and finally she came. Her parents were surprised, as they have never seen her out of the room since then.
" Uncle can we take her for a long drive? “Rey asked, her father approved but her mother didn’t. Mia gave that same smile when he asked her.
