The Hat I Gave You in Fall (Pico x Cam/Boyfriend)

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

Pico, a hot-headed, kind, and stand-out boy. Cam, a short, Kuudere, and introverted boy. They've met at some time in their lives, but Pico is the only one that remembers what happened, but because of their status and friend group, they are not very talkative with one another. Cam is an outcast and Pico is a stand-out showoff. But the first time they talk to each other, they go red in the face. Will Pico and Cam lose their heads or their hearts? Will Cam stand out more than in? Is Pico really in what he thinks he's in. Or is all of this just a never-gonna-happen fantasy of a lifetime of lifetimes? (I know, I suck at writing. lol)

Chap. 1: Follow Me

Fade in...

11 years earlier...

Pico is walking home from school, his ginger hair swishing in the wind. He is wearing a red cap with a blue bill, a green shirt with dark, short-sleeves, khaki shorts, and red shoes with a small tint of gold-ish yellow. Out of all the noises he hears, crows cawing, smaller birds cheeping, and crunching leaves under his feet, he hears small, cute sobs. Pico walks slowly and quietly towards the sobs. "...Eh, I still have time to spare." Pico shrugs as he checks his wristwatch.

He looks around. As the sobbing gets louder, Pico gets farther from his house. When the crying gets as loud as it is, he looks around. He sees a figure moving in the shadows of a building. He runs over to it and sees a blue glisten. He reaches his hand out and tries to touch it. It jolts and turns towards him. It is a boy. He has cyan hair, which was the pale glisten of blue. Glistening Obsidian meets Daisy White.

The boy reaches out to Pico, mouthing the word, "Help." like he can't speak. Tears, dripping down his soft, plump, red cheeks. Pico recognizes him from another school. He lives nearby. Pico runs away from him. A second or two after, the boy runs after him, still crying. "P-Please wait! S-Slow down, please!!" he yells in a shaky voice. After a minute or so of chasing, the boy trips on a raised piece of concrete and falls onto the ground. He starts crying again. His knee is scraped. Small plips of blood, dripping out of his skin. Pico runs to him and looms over his crying figure. He holds a hand out to him. The cyan-haired boy looks at his hand for a moment but decides to take it. Pico helps him up and motions him to follow him. Pico starts running again.

The boy follows behind. Every corner Pico turned, he waited for the boy. They turned corners and corners and reached an apartment complex. The boy gasped slightly. "This is...my house." he smiled. He jumped onto Pico, praising him with thanks and blessings. Pico softly pushes him off. The boy looks confused, and at that moment, Pico puts his cap on the boy's head. "Remember me, 'kay little buddy?" he smiled. The Cyan-haired boy hesitates. He nods. Pico pats his head and walks off.

'Who... who was that handsome boy?' the Cyan-haired boy thought. "Thank you, b-boy!" he yells. Pico looks back at him and smiles. Before disappearing around the corner.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
