About AlexandraHobson
I have felt I needed to write something for some time. I had ideas, but no idea how to take these ideas and turn them into a book. In 2021, I completed a writing course through our charity.
The first book was my memoir, ‘Lenses: Seeing Life Through New Eyes’, which explores my life through my new revelation of being autistic.
Since then, the only way I can describe it is when you turn the kitchen tap on full, only for it to break. Water sploshes everywhere, and you can’t stop it! This is what writing has become for me.
I’ve realised recently that everything I write - whether it’s my memoir, my historical fiction, or even my dystopian series under another pen name - it all has a unifying thread running through it. And that is:
My words - written or spoken - and my stories told are to help others to find their identity, their purpose, and the courage to change the world.
