"As usual, the author has done a great job! I love her writing and read everything of hers that I can. I'm a sucker for a happy ending; that's my thing. The outside world can be very loud and messy, so reading is my escape. Noah and Cara are great characters, well-written, with just enough trauma, and they work it out. Yay me!!! Happy ending!!!! BUT, I don't get the way Cara feels justified in her actions toward the relationship when things blow up. Noah overreacted, definitely! He could have handled things much better, but I can't get past her blatant cheating and feeling like she has the right. She left; she filed for divorce and NEVER SIGNED THE PAPERS! He didn't sign them, so she knew he felt they were still husband and wife. How could she continually have sex with another man, flaunt the relationship in front of her husband, and then get pissed when he reacted? I'll be honest, I almost didn't finish reading it. I almost feel like Noah was too good for her in the end, but maybe I'm a little too drawn to fictional reformed professional athletes! ❤️🩶"

"The story in general was good and I enjoyed the story line. But there is a lot of inconsistencies throughout the story. Sometimes in the same chapter and sometimes throughout the story. There's also a lot of "fluff" and descriptions that I felt is not necessary. The second part of the book also felt like it was written by a different person. I feel that with editing this story has a lot of potential to be really great."
