"This has been a very interesting look into the thought process’ of a broken person in a life that she has created. “Be careful what you wish for” you might like it. Very good take on betrayal of everything that matters between a married couple. I have really enjoyed the read so far, not really what I was expecting but all the better to see where it is going. "
The Botched Marriage
"When I read the warnings, I admit I lost interest immediately. I hadn't read the other referenced book by the other named author so I didn't know who Danny and Carrie were. However, I decided to read the first chapter anyway. Then I read chapter two, and then three.... and suddenly here I am at chapter 23 a day later and deeply engrossed. I have hated main characters before, but this is another level of hate. The disgust and abhorrence I feel towards Carrie is down right disturbing considering this is just a book. But that's just it isn't it? It's not just a book. It's not just a made up scenario because there is no doubt somewhere this has happened, is happening now or will soon happen. Exploring sexuality is openly accepted now. There are a lot of "no judgement here" attitudes from people of all ages who celebrate and encourage you to "be yourself." What they don't talk about is the part this story is about. The part were not everyone is open, curious or even interested in exploring but do so for a loved one against their own morals. This side of the story is eye opening, gut wrenching, and shows you the selfish side of another and what they do just to get their way. Is it worth it? I'm glad I read it even when I thought I wouldn't like it. Turns out, I was wrong and would recommend to others. Thank you for sharing."
