Move Over Jane Austen
"I'm seven chapters in and consider this story my 'coffee and banana bread treat' when I get home to relax. I am savoring each chapter because each chapter is unique and charming and reveals titillating facts about our resident rogue, Devin. A mysteriously guarded man with hidden depths of emotional intensity. Maya...lovely, young, spirited, kind and gentle Maya. I tried not to like her but she has already won me over. Why did I try, you ask? I don't usually enjoy such women but there is something about Maya that...you just want to hug the hell out of her and believe me people. I am NOT a hugger. She is funny and cute and adorable and precious and if the Duke doesn't see this soon, I'm going to run him through with his own sword. He already has, in effect though, so...he's just fighting it. He will lose the battle, if I can't dislike Maya...it's an impossible feat to accomplish even for a stubborn, willful man. I highly recommend this story. It has everything a romance lover enjoys. And then the author goes beyond to weave a tapestry of elegant balls and magnificent gowns and just a lovely trip into an era that sadly, has gone away. But in this story, the reader steps right back in time. I had to come over and leave a review for this story deserves readers. I want everyone to find Maya and Devin and just sit back...and wait for the inevitable. What a lovely wait...."
Interesting!
"I liked the eccentricity of the dialogue. It is deeply profound. "
