"It's not often that an author can write about abuse, the trauma of the aftermath, the mental, emotional, and physical scars that one carries like a weight around the neck and you're trying to not drown. It is done carefully, authentically, with just enough glimmer of hope that you know they are going to come out the other side stronger. It's not a book for everyone. The triggers are real. As someone who has healed I read these stories to help remind me of how far I have come. If triggers are not an issue for you, then I do recommend this book to you. "

"Very well done no extremely well done good reading for anyone living with trauma in the past or now I am 87 faced major trauma years ago. Losing my baby alive he was taken by his father at 5 months old never saw him again was so fortunate that I met a wonderful man that held me together over 60 years still holding 💔 "
