"It was good, really nice and scratches several itches. You can tell it's more of the "traditional" vampire theme. No magical powers, no fated mates and the like. Still ended a bit too abruptly and there was little to no explanation to several things. Just "I don't know" and no one ever talks about it again. Also Dorian... What was his motive? Just wanted to ruin Axle? Could have been better explained as could Axle and Max's connection. I am curious how vampires reproduce... Just turning? Secret babies? Just making my head itch. Still recommended, it's nice and relatively short. Max is strong headed and I like that when it comes to more "dominant" creatures like vampires. Enjoy."
