You know how to tell a story
"You are so good at twisting a plot, making us starve for the truth, and then when we get there, you manage to break us down all over again—in the best way possible! "
Heartwarming
"This story has that classic ‘returning to town and rediscovering first love’ feel. The plot is wonderfully crafted, and the story is easy to follow. When I read the chapters, it feels like I’m reading a book by Nicholas Sparks—a true slice-of-life love story. I can’t wait to read more chapters. I’m obsessed! "
Great
"The core of this story is undeniably powerful. The plot has a way of pulling you in with its high tension and atmosphere, creating a world where the stakes feel deeply personal. However, as I navigated through the chapters, I found myself needing to step back and skip over sections that didn't align with my values. The author’s use of vulgarity and explicit descriptions felt like a distraction from what made the story truly beautiful: the connection. From my perspective, the story is at its best when it honors modesty (Haya). There is so much beauty in the concept of mercy (Rahma) and the quiet, respectful affection between characters. I felt that the vulgar dialogue at certain parts actually took away from the "Halal" essence of a true, meaningful connection. A story is much more impactful when it speaks to the heart and the spirit, focusing on moral integrity and faith in the face of conflict. All in all, this truly is a great story with a plot that kept me thoroughly engaged. I want to emphasize that sharing my perspective is in no way, shape, or form an attack on the author. I recognize and respect that every writer has their own unique voice and a different way of expressing their vision. I am always here to support authors and celebrate the world of diverse writing; it is simply my personal preference to engage with the narrative in a way that aligns with my own values and comfort. I appreciate the creativity that went into this work and look forward to seeing how these characters continue to evolve. I hope there is a second Book coming. "
