Blood Stained

Bloody Hell. This is one of the few books I’ve read that just screams for more than 5*. Very well written and despite the warning from the author, is also well edited. It really does have everything you both want and need from a fantasy story; add in an unusual plot and the author’s incredible imagination and you have the start of a series that will not only blow your mind, raise your blood pressure and shut out the world until it’s finished. Utterly excellent

Dangerous Love

Damn, that was a mighty fine read! One of the very few books I’ve read that’s worthy of more than 5 stars. A very well written and edited story with an unusual and gripping plot where you really want the “bad guy” to win. First thing I’m doing after this review is checking out other books and following this author. If they’re half as good as this one, I’m in for no housework and sandwiches……. I absolutely loved it, in case you couldn’t tell 🤷‍♀️😂

My oh my what an absolutely delightful story! Very very well written and the time spent on editing pays dividends making it flow easily and comfortably. It has everything! Humour, drama, romance, passion and very tastefully written smut; who doesn’t love a cowboy? Either the author has knowledge or a background in this lifestyle OR she researched it well, as the story entertained and informed throughout. An absolute MUST read and follow!

Fate Stained part Two

Well that was busier than Times Square on New Year’s Eve! Yet ANOTHER absolute cracker of a story in this series. I’m over halfway through the series and am dreading the end….. Without repeating myself I am struggling to say just how bloody good this story is. There is great sadness but great joy as well, the usual spicy, steamy, melty bits… 😈👍 and a couple of “Mike Drop” moments. It is as always, a very sticky book (almost impossible to put down) with an exciting and compelling plot. I am so pleased I found this once it was complete as I’m not sure my nerves could have taken the strain. A bloody BLOODY good read

Galan - The Bear King

I really did not intend to read this yet but here I am at the end! 🤦‍♀️. This was a really really good book that fit seamlessly into the Stained series. It is full of drama, romance, intrigue and is funny AF. As always it is very well written and you genuinely care about the characters. It can be read as a Stand-alone but to truly enjoy it, you need to have met Norah before imho 🤷‍♀️😂 I absolutely loved it

Fate Stained part one

What can I say that I haven’t said in the last two reviews? Extremely well written✔️ great editing/proof reading ✔️ unique and exciting plot✔️ drama✔️ humour✔️ horror✔️ smut✔️ romance✔️ and twists and turns that could give you vertigo. I am incredibly excited to read the next book as this one has provided the questions and some of the answers but there’s obviously so much more to come that I think just may blow our minds.

Well! I was prepared to be a little disappointed in book 2 as book 1 was so very good however, it has definitely maintained its momentum in my very humble opinion. It is excellent writing and great proof reading and the story is nail bitingly good. I have to start book 3 immediately as there’s a Prince that needs saving! Bloody great story and series 👏👏👏👏👏

Well…. It started off a bit Meh I’m sorry to say and I was considering shelving it but the author reached out thanking for taking the time to read it so I did. Patience was all I needed as soon after, the story started to grab me. It was actually quite well written and definitely developed into a “sticky book” (one that is difficult to put down) although the end became a bit like the beginning. The character development is good and definitely generates strong emotions lol. I love the ideas the author has for subsequent books and they definitely make me want to add them to my library.

This may appear to be a bit of a negative review but it really isn’t. Give the book a chance, it’s really worth taking the time; I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A couple of twists that I genuinely didn’t see and an unusual and quite gripping plot. For a short story, the character development and plot screamed Novel. I don’t know how this book has gone under the radar but it deserves to be displayed. A really really great read.

It is well written with an unusual plot however, it is rather slow and quite confusing and if I hadn’t read several of her books before this (which I have to say were exceptionally good!), I may not have finished this one ☹️. Despite having said that, I most certainly do want to find out what happens next and look forward to reading a book 2.

What a thoroughly enjoyable story! Every time she got with a new bloke that rang alarm bells I thought No No No! But it always turned with a positive spin, eventually….. It was a well written book that at times broke your heart and at others, it was hot as hell! The gapping between paragraphs is extreme in the final few chapters but that’s a small complaint about an actually wonderful read.

A pleasant read but a light plot with gaps. She was the Alpha’s daughter and had stayed in the pack so would know everyone. The reason for the attack is not addressed nor is the fact that she killed the Alpha and…… what? Is she the new Alpha? Is there a pack without an Alpha? As I said, a pleasant enough read but a little unfulfilling.

Jasmine goes from zero to hero and the romance is truly beautiful; as I’ve said before who doesn’t love a vulnerable bad boy? A really fabulous series and although I often think involving the children in future stories can be a bit Meh and laboured, I don’t see that happening under this author’s pen. In fact I am very excited to read at least one further book in that vein 🤞🙏🏻

Whilst this gifted author is no stranger to fantasy, drama and filth… such a short story is not the norm. It is difficult to write something so short without making it feel rushed or flimsy however YET AGAIN @Mlsmithwrites has shown great accomplishment in producing “the mouse that roared” a short story that feels like a novel. I have written and re-written much more to this review but just read the damned thing, you’ll know exactly what I mean…

Another 6* book from an incredibly gifted author. The plot is again quite dark but also hot AF and very very funny at times. You fall hook, line and sinker in love with the good guys and loathe the bad guys with your very soul. You don’t choose to continue reading this series, trust me you have no choice as it really is THAT good. There are very few authors I would follow to the ends of the earth, this author is most definitely one of them.

The plot is very imaginative, the writing is excellent and the attention to detail is spot on. An utterly amazing and gripping story.

The imagination required to write such a well balanced book with an unusual and exciting plot could only come from an utter crackpot!!! It was fast paced without being rushed and I almost want to immediately read it again.

The author interacts well with the reader making the time taken to comment feel worthwhile. I cannot say strongly enough that this book DEMANDS to be read so just bloody read it, you won’t be disappointed!

The King’s Eyes

An enjoyable story but some difficulty with the flow due to grammar issues particularly in relation to possessives and pronouns such as her when it should be his. Also it is quite difficult sometimes to work out who is actually talking. I appreciate that English is probably not the author’s first language but even so it does lead to a reduction in enjoyment as it ends up being a stop/start read. Sorry

However it really really needs book 2 and probably 3 straight after as it isn’t quite strong enough to stand alone. Often the Dom is too controlling for my personal taste but as you say, this is a softer version without losing any of the thrill of control but rather enhances it as it comes from a point of love. Okay so where to start? A very well written story that was just…. beautiful. There’s romance, erotica, humour, drama, angst….. and many, MANY words that have fallen out of every day use and required Google’s help. It was a tiny bit slow early on and despite the fact I thought I had a good knowledge of vocabulary, it could be hard at times to keep up with the exceptional variety of nouns and adjectives. That being said, it did enhance the thorough enjoyment of what was a truly incredible and immersive book. I’m very much looking forward to reading book 2. As a first piece of work, I struggle to see how it can be bettered.
