"I LOVE this book, It definite continue from book 1 and did not have me wondering who is this or what's going on. I felt every emotion throughout the book, if a reader cant see it they should be able to feel it. The intimate scenes were extra spicey, love it. The way chapters ended had you wanting to know what happened next. I don't read at night so I read as much as I can with in the day. My take away from this book is that we can change our lives for the best once we are determine and those around us are positive influence. And also running away from problems is not the solution there is a chance that when you turn the curve you might be back in the same situation. I love the relationship that Jo and Adrian had and to see they started with "A day at a time" and end up committing to each other created a bond so awesome. They communicated and face the storm together and came out on top. Iris is an awesome mom she is me, I fight for my kids and for their success!!!! Keep the stories coming, I've enjoyed all your books that I have read. "

The love Adrian and Jo have for each other is so strong and real. I liked how it ended. No big production over a wedding. It was mentioned they were married and were expecting a baby. "I had a very good time and experience reading this story. Every aspect of the book: language, grammar, syntax and vocabulary- was done to carry the message through and give the reader a clear sense of the plot. The suspense gave me the curiosity to read more even when it was emotionally overwhelming. It is a love thriller about family dynamics and power but also the redeeming power of love without the cliché associated with the genre. I strongly recommend it to anyone willing to explore the mystery and meaning of truth, accountability, legacy and love. Thank you once more author for sharing this great story."

"Now that I have finished the book, I would like to add a few more facts, adding to my previous review (up to the 27th chapter). The action and the revealing twists are mindblowing, yet in an extremely realistic way! It was expected that all the family power and influence would have some weight to it, but the rising tension when Adrian confronted his father was just... wow! Indeed, Spencer's blameworthy actions are hurtful, yet not entirely impossible to understand. From his point of view, he protected the family name (after all, nobody wants their family reputation to go through mud), yet his personality as a business leader made him completely lose his emotional intelligence. That hit harder than I expected, and I'll never forget about this, if I ever become a parent. Jo and Adrian's connection is deeper than the Mariana Trench, something we all crave, whether we admit it or not. To feel that kind of emotional safety and support while being held in someone's arms... It's just mesmerising. Although I enjoy the usual romantic tropes, I adored that this story is not one of them. Both of them had emotional baggage and needed each other's support, and they kept their dignity and reasonable behaviour, rather than falling at each other's feet and begging for love. I fall hard for that kind of calmness in tense situations and the use of wise words. This is undoubtedly a life goal, yet the hardship of owning them and being such a respected person should also be balanced with methods that somehow drain that negative weight. In the end, everything turned out exactly how it was supposed to be. Even though the couple's happily ever after doesn't erase the emotional package (that's what strengthens their relationship in the long run), the epilogue superbly includes also Laura, Riley, and Iris, people we all rooted for to have their part in the family. The story's authenticity is amazing, and the profound message is great to take into consideration daily. I feel that truthful communication creates the strongest and most sincere relationships. 💜 ***** Initial review This book fascinated me in ways I couldn't imagine! Characters' POVs reached incredible, profound levels of complexity, which I perfectly comprehend, but I am barely able to describe. In the best way possible, I was so overwhelmed by these detailed descriptions regarding their inner thoughts, fears, and feelings, which are more remarkable than anything I expected. Although Adrian's features (both physical and psychological) obviously make him irresistible, his demeanour is something that makes your heart worth melting for. After Jo's leave (at the end of the first book), I was stunned that they didn't immediately get back together, leaving them time to reflect on each other. This made their relationship stronger, hotter, and more endearing than anything I have ever read. Also, I was caught tearing two times: their heartbreaking confrontation (which led to temporary separation) and their Christmas together, surrounded by family and reciprocal adoration that melts the Arctic. At the time I left this review (the book being now written up to chapter 27), the compelling action is yet to come, but I couldn't wait until the book was finished and I didn't want to let these impressions fade. Until we find out what happens between Adrian, Spencer, Riley, and the couple's ever after, I also wanted to take a moment and appreciate the strong relationship built between Jo, Laura, and Iris. Not making everything evolve only between the couple, only makes this book fantastically real and profound. I don't know if it's a fact or a personal opinion, but even though I like the first book a lot (that's why I immediately jumped to the second one), I consider this one better written, considering everything (action, plots, emotions, descriptions, vocabulary, characters). So, even though I now belong to the large number of readers who wait for the next chapters (that's why I usually prefer reading finished books), I know the wait is worth it, and time shouldn't rush the author and make him sneak certain flaws, which would ruin this masterpiece. I feel that I wrote a lot, but I couldn't properly express the real thrills that I got from the book (like other readers through their chapter comments), yet I wanted to show that this writing perfectly landed where it needed to, at least for me. Overall, this is a great book, written by an amazing author. I came here for the spice, but lengthened my stay to secretly admire these unforgettable complex characters (can't wait to find more of them, through the other E.G. Patrick's books). 🤍"

They are both just jealous and really need to get a life of their own and leave Adrian and Jo alone. I also hope that Laura doesn't get hurt in all their backhandedness. "
