The intimacies are not restricted to The Room and expand into emotional acknowledgment and growth. Definitely a story for a reader who likes to laugh, yell and cheer for the characters along the way."

"I am utterly captivated by this book and I only have positive opinions towards it! Everything about it is sublime, from the unforgettable characters described with this skilful writing style, to the overall story and each detail. Even from the first chapter, which provided context for this amazing story, the characters evoked some sorrowful feelings that truly engrossed me in them, as I patiently waited to see how the main woman overcomes this powerful heartbreak and finds her way to a fulfilling life. The authentic description is so realistic, that I almost felt my heart ache and my eyes get wetter through the first chapters. To find out you've been devilishly betrayed like this by someone whom you've built your life around, then hide your feelings until you crack and get them to the surface... speechless. I didn't know who was more despicable between Mark and Linda. As of the refreshing feeling of "us, women, should stick together" from the awesome "The Mighty Darius" book, a plot like this, picturing the exact opposite, kind of stings deep. However, Linda was mostly a selfish opportunist, while Mark's latter internal confessions revealed his evil soul. I considered it heartbreaking how Mark used Vick and coldly ended their marriage, without any remorse, guilt, or any feeling of appreciation towards her, which is something most people fear (yet his true colours were much worse). However, these terrible feelings help her achieve the enviable level of a heroine that most of us strive to become: powerful self-control in actions and emotions, guided by intelligence, rationality, discipline, strategy, and confidence, which draws a natural positive impression towards worthy people. The irresistible connection that was built between Victoria and Wesley is quite magnificent; their chemistry resulted from their personalities and a slow-burning passion that keeps the tension at its peak. Regarding the two frightening moments showing Mark's violent actions (at the hotel and back at their home, after he kidnapped and beat Victoria), even I trembled and I could feel the goosebumps rising on my skin. After these traumatising experiences (along with all the bad ones from the past four years of her marriage), at least she found her perfect man to happily share her life with, and this gives me strong feelings of pure joy. Our hero Wesley never failed to show his support and mesmerise us with his care and outstanding skills. One key part, that all of us truly adore, is this hot *SPICE* that we can never have enough of. Like ALL the other books from E. G. Patrick, even if I'm too shy to admit it, my fantasies reach an incredible level of pure desire and admiration, always surprising me with new kinks that I fall hard for. These captivating characters always give me that salacious sensation, especially between my thighs and in my belly, better than any real physical foreplay. This writing style regarding control, dominance and sexy BDMS is something worth drooling over. Even so, the subtle gestures of genuine care and affection between the couple are highly appreciated and I never underestimate them. One of my favourite parts, after the couple has some amazing moments of intimacy, is that perfect blend between rough and soft, going beyond their physical chemistry. Some such magical moments I can recall: their first intimate night, the punishment followed by worshipping after making each other jealous (through Michael and Lindsay), the proudness of making a public appearance at the gala at each other's arms (while stirring Mark' and Linda's feeling of enviness and regrets), the Barbados vacation, Victoria being caught twice by Wesley through the condo's cameras and ordering her what to do, the bonus chapter... they're all mouthwatering. I'm really glad that this story gained recognition, having hundreds of likes and numerous positive comments and reactions at each chapter. It deserves a great reputation through acknowledgement. Overall, I find it revigorating to go through a book that has such profound characters and feels so realistic, among all the dark romance and twisted plots that I usually dive into. Especially when an authentic story has aspiring characters that you have so much to learn from, and the writing style is outstanding, captivating through each line. My rationality tries to tell me "it's just a book", but I won't deny that Victoria's happy ending brings me so much pure joy, in a way that I can hardly describe. Thank you, dear author, for these thrilling experiences! I highly appreciate all your books! 🤍 "

"Loved reading this. It’s the first I’ve read of this author and it definitely won’t be the last. I loved the lead characters transformation and the plot kept me enthralled. It was also nice to have epilogues that showed what happened over years, not just weeks or months. The writing style was fresh and made all the characters come alive, giving them depth. Very well done!"
