On the other hand, Lev and Ivan are dangerous and focused and heavily obsessive to the point of making the world around them seem calm and devoid of danger. This makes for unpredictable and entertaining interactions between all of them, which makes it easy to get lost in the book. Captivating is a good way to describe the writing because they are all such short chapters relative to the fast pace of the book. The dark elements of the book intermingled with the romance and the major themes dominate the tone and serve to book quite well in the darker and more disturbing elements. This book is perfect for dark romance lovers. Not only is the book highly rated for thrill and constant plot, the dark and well-balanced elements, and so much more, make this book a must read."
Amazing book--and I don't even like Mafia stories!
"Psychothriller. Extremely dark. Vividly written characters. Amazing depth of psychological development. The motivation of each character is flawlessly delivered without weighing down the narrative. An excellent example of show, don't tell readers. I haven't read a Mafia/Bratva romance in a very long time. The themes are stressful for me rather than entertaining. And I couldn't put this one down. I'm sure analyzing this work will improve my own writing. READ this book!"
