Chapter 1
Killing butterflies on our face
Shattered glass as a base
Stitching smiles
Sharpening knives
Purple blood on our hands
Castles made from the blackest of sands
Necks held by red strings
And terror that hides in beautiful things
Eyes like wells, fall and drown
Skin stretching over the gold of crowns
Bury us now, coffin and earth
A penny or six to know your worth
An Axe to the head to keep us silenced
Fates unravel already decided
Death favors a coin one-sided
Fall, sink, drown, break
Monsters become what you make
As for us, we hope you stay
Look through the window
Look good and well
But look for long enough
And you might see a glimpse of hell
