Prologue

Since the dawn of time, mates have long since been considered the greatest gift that could ever be given to a werewolf. Nothing else in history could compare to finding that one person.

A mate is a special connection, they are like nobody else on earth. They’re specially designed to complement and complete their fated half. Like two sides of the same coin. Your universe shifts, it feels like life is no longer about you, it no longer revolves around the sun but instead, it revolves around them. There are some wolves who reject the sacred bond either willingly or are forced into it and take a chosen mate instead. The bond between chosen mates will never be as strong as the bond between fated mates.

Yet it’s not always that simple. While some grow up knowing their mates from birth. Some are unlucky and are thrown many hurdles in the race to find their destiny. My name is Danika Flynn, this is my story, my journey. I know he’s out there and now that I’m eighteen I just have to find him….
