Letters
Optimus prime stared at the sky, releasing a long drawn out sigh as the sun set, slashing a deep red over the valley below.
"Whats wrong my love, you look tense" Lightning McQueen whispered drawing close to his lover and his husband Optimus Prime.
"Nothing, it's just... I don't know" Optimus averted his eyes from Lightning McQueen and stared back at the fading clouds as the sky turned a dark Navy.
Lightning McQueen idled quietly by his side knowing that silence would let his lover release what he had been holding in for the last few nights.
"Im scared" he finally let out, a small grey tear falling from his red and blue muscular metal face.
"I'm scared too baby" Lightning moved his tire up to Optimus Prime's knee gently patting it in attempts to comfort his husband.
"I just don't want a monster"
"My love, it's not possible to make a monster when it has your cheek bones and my smile" he joked.
"But Lighting" Optimus sighed, "how is it not?"
Lightning could not respond because he too knew that Optimus's worries of the child that was to be born in May was a monster and they both knew that no amount of metal work or genetic splicing would change the fact that a transformer and a race car could never truly be lovers and that the uterus of Lightning, though powerful, could likely not stop a godly creation like that of two vascular beings.
"Come inside and detransform" Lighting said, gently stroking Optimus's shin with his headlights. "I know how to help you destress"
Optimist turned slightly towards Lightning wondering how on Earth someone who was 8 months pregnant could be so willing to pleasure him even in a time of burden.
"I need a sec" he breathed before turning toward the valley.
Lightning nodded, driving off quietly, as his belly gently pulsated against the concrete porch of their giant glass mansion.
"Baby is that you?" Lighting called from beneath his weighted blanket. It had been an hour since he went inside and still his lover had not returned.
"Primus? Honey? Come to bed and spoon me." He gravled. When there was no answer, lighting rose, tire tucked beneath his growing belly, and slowly rolled off the bed.
"Honey?" In the kitchen the lights were off and their mansion was flooded with darkness. Lightning could hardly see, so he pulled agross the room to the switch. But flipping it did nothing.
"Babe?? I think the power if out? This isnt funny Prime, come on, Im pregnant." Lighting rolled to the window where the door to the balcony lay open letting cold pine air in.
"And seriously, close the door behind you, you know how cold I get." Pulling his cardigan around his tires, lighting grew frustrated.
"Prime. Seriously wtf." He rolled around the corner and bumped into the coffee table he had carved from wood. In the dark, a white piece of paper glowed and lightings heart sunk.
"Shit." Running his tire down the paper he read Optimus's cursive words -
'I could say all this, its not you its me bull crap, but It would be a lie. It is you. It has always been you. I cant raise a monster. I just cant. Dont try and find me, im already gone.'
Lightings body shook and he flattened to the ground, taking the table and letter with him in a loud crash. Water streamed from every orifice of grief and he cried, body convulsing from loss, before feeling an unbearable pressure and pain in his abdomen and passing out.

It just gets worse from here....
