Summary

The Twisted Circus is a collection of short stories starring Echo the Ring Master of the dead, and her circus and those that join it. These stories are more on the creepy and twisted side with monsters, creatures and other things that aren’t quite normal. This is honestly just a little random thing I updated and create new parts for from time to time.

Introducing Echo ringmaster of the dead

Dawn lived most of her life in an orphanage. Oh, how she hated that place and the people who ran it.

No one ever wanted to adopt her because of the cards she always held close to her chest everywhere she went.

People were so scared when the realize the young girl had tarot cards.

The only thing she had left of her mother, and she refused to let anyone touch them.

Once eighteen she left and never looked back. But spending twelve years in that hell.

Had twisted her mind into something dark, she spent the next five years on the street.

Telling people their futures and reading their palms.

With each passing day her mind became more twisted and dark.

She was ready for something bigger than reading palms and telling futures.

Oh, yes she wanted a circus of her own. But not just any circus she wanted a circus that was dark.

She began making plans and once it was already she put it into action.

She waited patiently for the right time. She looked up at the full moon in the sky.

A twisted smile formed on her face as she grabbed her hat and cane.

She hurried towards the graveyard laughing like a mad women the whole time.

Once there she prepared everything she needed, she let out a breath before she began the spell.

Oh, if only she knew what was about to happen.

As she continued her plans she failed to noticed the dark clouds.

That began to circle high above her, she heard the crack of thunder before she felt the lighting strike her.

Her body and cane were thrown back hard. She let out a small cough when she came to.

Dawn slowly sat up and noticed her hair was a different color than it was moments before.

Instead of her normal long midnight black it was now a ghostly white.

She looked down at herself to see that her entire appearance had changed.

No longer did she have on a simple black dress and flats.

She now wore a ruffled jet black skirt that was short in the front and long in the back.

Fishnet covered her legs and on her feet were now knee high boots with the heel in shape of a finger bone.

She also had on a crimsons red corset and a black tail coat.

Dawn began feeling her head looking for her hat, before she figured it was in her original spot.

She stood up and looked around to see if she could find her cane, when she found it she noticed it to had changed.

Where the cane was black before, now the tip was black the body was a crimsons red and at the top sat a black crystal skull.

She walked back to the spot she stood only moments ago to see that her top hat had changed.

It was now the same crimsons red as her top and cane.

With black spider web lace around it, it also had a small black skull in the front of it.

She began to reach for it when she started to fall forward, she used her cane to stop herself.

When the tip of her cane tapped the ground everything started to shake.

She watched as one by one a hand would pop out of a grave and just stop.

She stood there in shock for a moment before a twisted smile formed her face again.

"It worked" she whispered she looked back down to noticed her tarot cards.

There was a card she'd never seen before she bent down to get a better look at it.

It had a young women dressed like her on it with an army of the dead behind her.

Dawn looked at the top of the card to see the name on it, it simply said ringmaster.

Dawn let out a laugh as she stood back up she grabbed her cane with both hands.

And tapped it twice on the ground "rise" she shouted.

Her voice echoed through out the graveyard.

She watched as one bye one the hands pulled themselves out.

Some still had flesh others were just bones.

All the undead beings stopped once they made it to Dawn and waited for her command.

Dawn picked up her cards and hat placing it on her head.

Before she turned her back to the undead army.

She twirled her cane in her hand before pointing it towards the exit.

"Come along my undead friends, we have a circus to start".

She says with a laugh.

The orphanage Dawn was no more, oh no, she was now Echo the ringmaster of the dead.

And with her tarot cards that could predict anyone's future or should she say death.

She just couldn't wait for more people to join her circus.

Living or dead.
