Winthorp's Quest

This is a tale of two dwarves who were in way over their heads. You see they were young, carefree fellers who went sniffing around for trouble. Whether accidental or intentional, they always found adventure. The two dwarves got many looks as well for their travels were something that was never seen before, the dwarves stumbled upon a baby who was abandoned, but this was no ordinary baby. The baby had pointed ears and fair skin; this baby was an elf. History dates back to elves and dwarves hating one another. The amount of bloodshed alone shows the disdain elves and dwarves hate one another. There is not a true reason as to why elves and dwarves hate one another, but elves have noted how “classless” dwarves are and never use their heads for anything useful. Dwarves have often found elves the root of all problems; in political standings and even find them to have little emotions when it comes to others.

These two dwarves, as I mentioned in the beginning, seem to have a different outlook between this lifelong feud. Their perspectives cause a stir in their clan and when one of our dwarves brings an elven baby in their midst, this sends all of the dwarf clan into a frenzy. Many clan dwarves suggested that the baby be taken hostage or something even more extreme; having the elven baby killed. The pair set out on a journey to bring the baby to a safe haven because they refuse to bring any sort of harm to the baby. This is when our dwarves set out on a quest filled with treachery, turmoil, and an exciting quest. Will our dwarves succeed, or will they be met with a great evil that will prevent them from continuing their quest?
