Summary

After the barely surviving the death of her parents and crippling depression that followed. De'vea Bishop is abducted and tortured by aliens for information of her home world, Earth. ★彡 Stolen from his home planet and kept on a slave ship, Jyava plots to escape. His plans are muddled when a human is thrown in as a prize for Etra, Battle of Slaves. Jyava finds himself fighting for both himself and the human woman who has awakened his second heart.

Rag'qa - Rag-qwa

Kuji - Ku-gee

Jyava (ML)- Jay-ah-vah

*Vak'Jyava - Vah-k Jay-ah-vah

Sefka - Sef-kah

Vocabulary:

Etra (Ee-tra)- A gladiator-style battle between the slaves to help keep the population down and bloodlust controlled.

*Mak'oi (Mac-oui) - A Master's title that means "The Unmarked". Kuji is given this after ruthlessly destroying worlds and leaving unscathed.

Marcev (Mar-key-v) - A nomadic lizard-like alien race that pillages planets and enslaves their people. They are one of the most well-known slave traders.

Ahva (Ah-hey-va) - Warrior goddess to the Dehi people.

Brenki (Br-en-key) - A term of endearment that translates to 'found brother' or 'brother'.

*Mak'ana (Mac-anna) - The title De'Vea receives after injuring the Mak'oi. It means 'The Marker'.

Kal berries (Cal) - A sweet berry that tastes like candy and smells like fresh fruit.

Paen (Pah-ee-n) - A vicious animal from the Durn Grasslands, basically a giant Guinea pig.

Ttaena (Th-aye-nah) - A powerful crystal that is harvested and used to power cities in Durn, to power weapons, to heal, etc. Offworlders pay a hefty price for Ttaena.

Bkim (Be-key-m) - A grass from a farmer's planet that when dried and ground down makes what De'Vea calls 'Mush'

Dehiri (De-hear-ee) - A large planet home to the native Dehi people. Rich in: Ttaena Crystals and Detreos.

Fi Kefi (Fee Keh-fee) - This means My Heart. Fi means me and Kefi means heart. Since the Dehi people have 'soul mates', when they first meet, their 'second heart' starts beating. They can physically feel the heartbeat of their Kefi or 'fated mate'.

Se'ae (Seh-aye) - Dehi Warrior's rite of passage.
