"There’s so much emotion and heart here. The voicing in the prose is very strong. It’s a powerful piece. Really hits home for cancer survivors or people who have lost family to cancer. My mom is a melanoma survivor but I lost my grandmother to brain cancer. Both were terrifying and heartbreaking situations. Reading this story, although short, provided me with some catharsis. "
