Chapter 1

Freddy gripped his suitcase tightly. He was sitting on one of the many buses in London. He checked his watch, he was going to his work which was located in the middle of London. It was 12:09 pm. Then the bus stopped, Freddie sat up and walked out of the bus. He was expecting the big building to be suitable in front of him. But it wasn't instead he happened to be in front of the iconic clock, big ben. The second hand on the clock wasn't moving for some strange reason. Huh, Freddy thought. He checked his watch. It wasn't moving like the big clock. He squinted at the clock. The second hand of the clock wasn't moving. He looked up at the clock.

"Guess, I've got to get my clock fixed," He muttered.

He pulled out his phone. It was 12:10. Once again Freddy looked up at the large clock was frozen exactly at 12:10. Then the ground shook. The rumbling made most of the hot dog carts bounce up and down, the contents of the hot dog carts spilling on the floor with a large 'splat' Then the concrete tiles that covered the floors started to break and split. A large inky black hand shot out of the massive wound in the ground. No one moved. It might've been the shock that made everyone at the big Ben not move. Then another hand shot up out of the ground. It was black and inky the ink dripping down to the ground. A twisted face arose out of the ground it had several eyes that were melted into its body, like a candle. It let out a large roar that was when everyone started to panic. The thing jumped out of the ground and started to attack the people running. Freddy ducked underneath a small Morris Mini. The sound of blood splurting everywhere and people screaming was all you could hear. Then a face popped out underneath the car. It had a twisted lip and staring eyes that would peer into your soul. Its outstretched arms gripped Freddy's face. The only thing he saw was him going to its mouth, the stomach acid breaking down.

virgie: Brooke is completely dense. She had no appreciation for her saved life. Don Lombardi lacked respect for her human condition. He should be honest with her from the start.
