Seeing you gave me a boost to optimism.
I woke up to the sound of a siren. I opened my eyes and looked up at the ceiling. There are cracks in the ceiling, and the paint has come off. I looked around. The walls were dirty. Suddenly, I heard a bang on the door. I lifted my head and looked at the door. There was no one there. I sit up on the bed. I looked down at the ground. Cockroaches were running on the ground. I crushed a running cockroach with my feet.
Suddenly, the door burst open. A man entered the room. An average build with black skin, he has an overly sensitive feel about him. He has bulging brown eyes, a hooked nose, defined cheekbones, and a square face. He has short, wavy, black hair. He has straight hips, muscular legs, large hands, narrow shoulders, and muscular arms. His name is Russell Howel.
I was sitting on the bed, head down. I nodded my head and looked up at him with a smile.
Uff... again, someone tried to run,” I asked. He comes close to me. “Stand up and stand against the wall.” I walked up to the front wall and leaned against the wall. Russell then started searching something in my bed. I leaned forward and asked.
What are you trying to find?” I asked again. This time, he turned his face toward me. What have I said to you? Just stand there quietly!” Russell yelled. I then stand straight and take one step back.
Come on, I can help you,” I whispered. Russell suddenly stands up and presses me against the wall. I spoke. “Stand here, quietly. If you say one more word, I will call them, and they will take you to Dr. Ronald Harington.”
I raise both hands. “Umm... sorry. From now on, I am not saying a word,” I said with a big smile on my face. Russell went back. I again leaned forward. “If you tell me, we will find it together; in this way, we will find it quickly, and your time will also be saved,” I said.
Russell tosses the pillow and bed sheet on the ground and then looks toward me. Hmm. So, you are not giving up. As we were talking, a woman walked into the room.
Tall and slender with olive skin, she is a quiet person. She has almond-shaped, light brown eyes, an oval face, a cleft chin, and rosy cheeks. She has shoulder-length, wavy, dark brown hair. She has average-sized feet, short legs, a slender torso, and a short neck.
She has a Friendly, considerate, tolerant, and helpful personality. Her name is Willow Hancock. She is a nurse at Harmony Mental Asylum. She looked at Russell. Is he bothering you? Do you want me to take him to the cafeteria?” Willow asked.
I suddenly jumped into the conversation. No need, my dear; we are friends, and I promise I will not bother him again. I said this while sliding to the ground. Hey, you get up; we are going for a walk.” Willow said while grabbing my hand,
Russell looked at Willow. Thank you; I will meet you in the cafeteria later,” Russell said. Willow then takes me outside the room. We then started walking downstairs. “So, you work here?” I asked. She does not answer me. I ask her again with courage. How long have you been working here?”
She looks at me. Walk straight; if you say something again, I will call the nurses for help. Do you want me to call them?” She asked. I fell silent. We walked into the cafeteria through the hall. Willow makes me sit on the chair next to the window.
Hey, do not go anywhere. I will come back in a minute and take you to your room,” Willow said while walking away.
I was sitting there silently, and a minute later, an old man came over to me and sat in front of me. He raised his eyebrows. I shake my head angrily. And I start looking out the window. “You can’t ignore me. I want my money back,” he said.
I said nothing. I was acting like he was not there. He tapped on my shoulder to get my attention. But I did not look at him, so he grabbed my hand firmly and pulled me to himself. I looked at him. He then looked into my eyes.
Hmm... I was talking to you. “I know you are Robert’s brother. He has committed fraud against me. Because of him, I am here,” He said. I jerking his hand and stood up. “I said I do not know you.” I walked off and sat at the next table next to the window. I was staring at the sky. The sun was in the sky. The weather was hot but pleasing to the heart.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. As I was chilling there, Suddenly I saw in the window of the opposite building some patients who were coming down the stairs. Then I saw a familiar face. I started jumping with joy. I started screaming.
“I was right. I was right.”
I start walking along the windows, waving my hands, and trying to get his attention.
"Hey, look at me. Rob, Rob, Rob, Please looks at me. I am here!” I yelled.
Meanwhile, I bumped into another patient, and he pushed me, and I fell to the ground. Suddenly, a man came and sat on my chest and started punching me in the face.
I was screaming. “I want to talk to my brother. I want to see him.”
A minute later, two nurses come and take the man away from me. I was lying on the floor with a bloody face and groaning with pain. I stood up, and when I looked out of the window, I saw no one was there. I wiped the blood from my face.
No, no, no, where did he go?” I screamed. Meanwhile, two men grabbed me and shoved me to the table, making me lay on my back, and I started screaming.
A minute later, a man injected me, and I fell asleep.
