Clouds go by
As I sit by the river
Looking at the tranquil sky
As the wind blows down and
The clouds go by.
Somedays the drudgery of life
Plunges me into the the puddles of vain
No matter how hard I try
I still find myself in pain.
Oh how I cry and waste my time
A foolish man would think I am fine
But the truth is that my tears are
For the person I pine
And as I sit and gaze and gaze and gaze
The clouds they float at their own pace
I realised that nothing has ever been stationary
Life has always been like a never ending race
And now, as I sit by the river
Looking at the tranquil sky
Laughing and crying as the wind blows down and
The clouds go by.
