Chapter 1

In shadows deep, where pain resides,

Silent voices, shattered pride.

A haunting truth, we must confront,

The tales of innocence affronted.

Whispered stories, heavy hearts,

Bound by silence, torn apart.

Survivors bear a heavy weight,

Their scars concealed, their souls berate.

Society, oh blinded eyes,

Shielding truth with feeble lies.

Victims shamed, their words dismissed,

Justice faltering, hearts clenched in fists.

Where consent should reign supreme,

Darkness lurks, a vicious scheme.

Predators prowl, unbridled power,

Leaving souls broken by the hour.

Let our voices rise as one,

United stand, the damage undone.

No more victim-blaming, no more shame,

We’ll break the silence, and call out the name.

With empathy and hearts ablaze,

We’ll fight the battles, change our ways.

Education, compassion, and understanding,

A world where safety’s never demanding.

To all survivors, you’re not alone,

We’ll raise our voices, make it known.

Together we’ll rise, a resilient force,

Demanding justice, a new discourse.

Let this poem be a rallying cry,

To challenge the norms, and tears defy.

No more silence, no more fear,

For a world where compassion is held dear
