I have been asked several times to write this book and I always avoided it in case I didn’t do it enough justice.

This book is a spin off of BAD BOY ABUSED, however it is a stand alone book. To avoid disappointment later, Liam and Olivia are not in this story but they are mentioned throughout.

If you don’t plan on reading the Bad Boy series here is what you need to know without spoilers.

During high school Jordan was best friends with Liam (BBA), Zak and Ben. Tia was best friends with Olivia (BBA). During junior year Jordan and his friends bullied Olivia so Tia already has her reasons to mistrust and hate them all.

This book takes place straight after high school. During the same time frame of BAD BOY SAVED when everyone is a college freshmen. It focuses on the story of Tia and Jordan.

(On a personal note, I read a comment a long time ago on BBA about the only black character being called Tiana and it stuck with me because I completely agree. I hate that I named her Tiana. BBA was the first book I had ever written and I wanted to include private little ‘Easter eggs’ true to my real life.

Tiana was one of them.

Princess and the Frog was a favourite movie for someone special to me and so Princess Tiana was in my mind when writing this book, hence how Tia originally came to life.

If I could go back I would name the character something more Nigerian rooted but people will only get confused if I change names now so please accept my apologies for that.)
