January: Prologue
As we begin the new year, we reflect upon the past year of memories we made. We think about the fun times we had, but also the sad times. We especially think of the mistakes that were made from the past and sometimes wish we can go back and try to erase those mistakes. But the truth is that we can’t do that. Those mistakes are always going to be a part of us no matter the circumstances.
However, on a rare occasion may we be presented with a second chance to try and atone for a mistake that was made years ago. What do we do with that second chance? Do we perfect it to where it gives us a happy result? Do we pass up on that chance? Or do we fail like we did previously?
Second chances come in various forms. But sometimes, they can in the form of a romantic flame that has been reignited and it’s up to us to keep burning that flame. As one former couple from North Carolina is about to find out, whatever happened in the past might be put aside in a second chance when something joyous is about to happen to their family.
For the month of January, we’re about to visit a former husband and wife that are brought together for a special occasion. These two will reflect on their lives and romance up to that moment and try to figure out where everything went wrong. It’s a story that while love isn’t always smooth sailing, it can bring people closer together especially when the heart grows fonder.
