A scream was heard throughout the mansion, and several maids ran towards the room from where the screams and cries emanated, they had to force the door to enter, and they saw their lady crying on the floor, apparently, she fell out of bed.
While the black-haired woman cried and cried, many of the maids tried to comfort her, one of them looked at the window and saw that it was broken, the glass was scattered on the floor near her.
“My lady, what happened?” The servant asked the dark-haired woman, who already seemed to have settled down, even so, the hysteria did not leave her gorgeous honey-colored eyes.
“He is coming for me...” She said almost in a whisper, her eyes were red from the weeping, and she clung to her maid more, the maid was worried, would she have to call the doctor again, it was already the third time this week, how much longer would this have to happen?
The maid looked at the broken window again with concern, even if her lady was a bit crazy in the head, she wouldn’t be able to do that, she was too careful for that, and then a dreadful thought passed like a snake on her back, bitterly slowly, causing her skin to crawl.
Her lady could be right...
“It’s the first day of school, it’s the first day of school, and I can’t be late!” A dark-haired girl with short hair muttered, her beautiful honey eyes looked attentively at the street, trying to pass the people who were moving slowly, like zombies, according to her.
Of course, if you wake up late on your first day of school in a new city, then you’re going to pay the price, you just can’t blame the people, she kept running and apologizing to the people she bumped into by accident, after a while, she looked at the watch on her wrist, it seemed like she wasn’t going to make it in time.
If she had looked at the elementary school that was just ahead, with the same name that her parents told her to look for, she wouldn’t have panicked, she rolled her eyes before running towards the entrance of the school, luckily for her, it wasn’t closed and several students were already entering.
Several of the students looked at her confused, it was clear that the girl was new, although there was no reason to get agitated, it was only 8:28 AM, and classes had not started yet, the girl entered the office, a secretary was writing on a computer and turned to look at the girl who was waiting to be noticed.
“Hello honey, what do you need?” The secretary asked with a sweet tone when she saw the black-haired girl, the girl’s honey eyes looked at the secretary intently and maturely, “Good morning, I’m new here and I would like to know what my classes will be because my parents forgot to come to the ‘back-to-school’ meeting”
The girl hesitated for a moment, “And if you could give them to me on a piece of paper, I would really appreciate it...” The secretary blinked, perplexed. After a few seconds, she shook her head and smiled at the girl.
“Tell me dear, what is your full name?” The secretary asked, grabbing a piece of paper and a pen, “Saisei Watanabe,” The girl answered, sitting in a chair, waiting for the paper, Saisei looked at the office for a moment, it seemed nice, of course, when there are no spirits and ghosts staring at you.
Each one seemed to tell their story just by looking at them, suicide, sickness, murder, it was such a bitter sight, they looked at her with devoid eyes, apparently, they knew that she could witness them and perhaps they were hoping for salvation from their circumstances, Saisei simply looked away out of respect for them.
A soft voice brought her out of her trance, “Here it is honey, I already called your teacher to take you to your classroom, I hope you have a great day here!” The secretary said as she gave her a piece of paper, with her classroom and her teacher written on it, a smile formed on Saisei’s face.
After a few minutes, Mr. Yanagida came to the office, “Good morning, am I here to pick up... Tensei?” The teacher said a bit confused, “Saisei, my name is Saisei...” The girl said trying to correct him, “Same thing... Come, we don’t want to be late...” Saisei put on her bag and waved goodbye to the secretary, the woman did the same, smiling.
As they walked towards the classroom, Mr. Yanagida looked at Saisei, “You look like you like to read,” He said trying to start a conversation with his new student, she nodded, “Yes, I like to read a lot, and I’m good with math...” She knew what he wanted to know, he wanted to know if she was going to be a problem student.
The teacher gave a long sigh, “Oh, thank goodness... I’ve had enough of bad students, especially Souichi...” When he mentioned the name‘Souichi’, he shivered, as if he had gotten goosebumps.
Saisei raised an eyebrow, curious, “Who is Souichi?” The teacher now had a horrified face, “He... He is going to be the death of me...”
Just as they arrived at the entrance of the classroom, a great scandal could be heard from outside the classroom, Yanagida entered the classroom, “What’s going on here?! If you don’t behave, I’m going to send you all to the office!” He left the room, which was now quiet, and cleared his throat, “Come Saisei,” she obeyed, entering the classroom.
Everyone in the room, girls and boys, seemed to be mesmerized by the sight of Saisei, they were murmuring among themselves, and it seemed that they were accepting her presence, “Good morning, students,” said Mr. Yanagida as if he had not yelled at them, “Today we have a new student, as you see, her name is Saisei... Something...”
Saisei looked sore, this wasn’t amusing anymore,“Watanabe...”The teacher nodded, “Yeah, yeah, whatever... I hope you fellas make her feel comfortable, now I want you to sit next to...” The professor’s eyes widened, and his voice tone shifted to a sorrowful tone, “Souichi...” The students gasped.
Saisei looked where everyone else was looking, and found him, apparently, he was giggling to himself, and he was right back in the room, like an outcast, Saisei shrugged her shoulders, it couldn’t be that bad, she made her way back, right on the desk in front of him, he looked up, and she looked him in the eyes, he gave her the strangest and most uncomfortable smile possible, and she noticed the iron nails in his mouth.
“Ok, it could be bad...”She thought to herself as she sat down, and the uncomfortable aura wouldn’t go away, what was it about this guy, was he possessed? She began to focus more on the uncomfortable atmosphere, many people had that aura, and then she realized, a cold sweat broke out on her face, “This guy curses...”She thought while taking out a pencil and a notebook, shaking slightly.
She looked at him from the corner of her eye, and he continued looking at her, giggling, the aura emanating from him, “You’re in luck Saisei, today we are reviewing everything we learned in this unit...” Saisei looked at the teacher, which made her lose concentration on what she was doing.
“Ah-h yeah, sure...” Saisei said nervously, some girls, who seemed popular, looked at her with pity, maybe it was fake, one muttered to the other, “Poor thing, Souichi is already driving her crazy...” And Saisei couldn’t disagree more with that, in fact, she found this interesting.
“I guess this school wouldn’t be so boring after all...” Saisei said, but not before looking at Souichi again, who was looking at one of his classmates, a small smile formed on Saisei’s lips, “I’m going to unwrap this, just wait and see...”
It was time to leave, and she found the school interesting, many people had talked to her, several boys were already chasing her, something that was not to her liking, and of course, the ghosts and the guy who cursed, she walked to her house, the streets seemed empty, but not for her, what others couldn’t see, she could.
Now that she thought about it, she never shared a word with Souichi, he didn’t even approach her, he just looked at her, why did he have nails in his mouth? She shook her head, she was getting distracted from the topic, what she wanted to know was how he gave curses, voodoo maybe? Yes, maybe that’s it.
She smiled, it was very easy to deduce, in a short time maybe she could discover all the secrets that that school may have, she stopped abruptly when she felt something furry on her legs.
She looked down, to see an albino cat, passing by her legs, she bent down and started petting the cat, touching its beautiful snow-white fur, the cat seemed to like it, because when she left, the cat followed her, and Saisei didn’t seem to mind, if anything, she carried the cat.
