Summary

After once more failing to find a way to save his soul from damnation just for being born as he is, Vincent has accepted that he stands on the edge with no peacekeeper in sight to keep him balanced. Even though he has accepted help from an unlikely source he can't even see, Vincent doesn't believe in a happy ending for himself. He's chosen instead to help the ones who did find their happy ending and hope they can help kill him once he finally breaks. Sometimes when you are so shut down you can't even see what's standing right in front of your face, and are more willing to believe in the evil shadowing you than the good whispering in your ear.
