Summary

An odd sort of tranquility spread through her, and every part of her went slack. Her eyes closed in blissful peace, which was quite odd considering the dire situation. Her eyelashes fluttered, and pieces of conversation drifted through the calm fog she was immersed in. Serafina let out a deep breath, and she began to softly hum. It was as if her mind had left her body entirely. The only thing she heard was her humming. Her whole body felt warm. Slowly, her eyes opened. The whole clearing had gone silent. She continued her humming, not quite sure why everyone was staring at her. They were all bathed in a soft golden light. Serafina looked down at herself. It was her. She was the one who was glowing so brightly. She frowned, head starting to hurt. Her humming stopped. “Where did all of the shadow monsters go?” She asked, head tilted to the side. Elara’s eyes were wide. “Serafina. Look around you.” She did. And all of a sudden, she didn’t want to look. The sight was horrible. A fine black liquid had coated the ground around them. The only place the black blood didn’t touch was in a perfect circle around her. Her head began to swim, and the adrenaline began to wear off. She stumbled to the side. A pair of strong arms caught her. “Hold on. Try and stay awake, will you?” Then her eyes fluttered closed and she passed out.

Disclaimer

Just a short foreword to say that I don't own the image used for the cover of the story. These characters are mine and mine alone and anyone claiming otherwise will have to face the consequences of their actions. Also, if you're wondering why the story isn't the same as it used to be, it's because I've now uploaded the original first draft while I work on editing it. Enjoy!

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

My Blacksmith Savior
