Working Hard
Hi I am Luna from Washington DC. The moment I opened my eyes into this world. Everyone was mesmerized by my beauty. My mother was a retired model and she wanted me to follow her footsteps. She used to brag about me infront of everyone and how she wanted me to be a model just like her. My father on the other was a Business man and he wanted me to take over his company when I grow up. Unlike both of them. Growing up I gained a strong passion of becoming a 5 star chef.I didn't told my parents about it because I didn't want to disappoint them. I never gave much attention to my looks because I was busy discovering new recipes and cooking delightful meals. No one noticed my efforts. My parents started fighting alot about me. My School was good although boys were desperate to get my attention. But I ignored them as best as I could. I had ton of friends at school. My Bestie Eva always supported me and she always told me fight back my problems but I didn't had the courage to tell my parents. One day my parents were having their 24th fight of the day. And I have had enough. I stood up and yelled at them. Something inside me just snapped. I said to them "Do you guys even know how much pressure you guys have put me through. You guys fight everyday without caring how much it effects me!!!". My mother was stunned. She got up and embraced me. She said " Oh! Honey we are so sorry. We thought we were doing what's best for you but we were wrong. Chase your dreams dear we will always support you and we will always be here for you." My father smiled and nodded. I was relieved. A few days later I found a letter in the mail box. I turned around and my parents were standing on the porch and smiling. I was estatic. So dreams really comes true if you are determinded.
