Getting to know us

John was an ordinary teenager. FOR AWHILE.

"Do you think you could hurry up Philip, you are the slowest." John says in annoyance to his younger brother as he packs up both of their lunches.

Philip dashes down the stairs mocking every word John says until he reaches the end of the stairs and see's his taller, older brother standing there.

"Don't think I didn't see you just now." Passing him the lunch he prepared for him. "Now come on, school isn't going to teach itself."

"John, you act as though you're the boss of me or something. May I remind you, that we are 1 day apart in age. Sheesh! You act so superior all the time." He says as he grabs his lunch and heads for the door.

Smirking, "well aren't we Mr. Sarcastic today," John gleefully shouts.

As they both began walking to school, a sleepy Camrea slowly started walking down the stairs and into the kitchen. Yawning very loudly," I can't believe they left me", she opens the refrigerator and saw a brown paper bag with her name on it. "At least they haven't forgotten their manners," chuckling under her breath, "Who am I kidding, they're Angels."She closes the refrigerator and heads back to bed to catch a few more Z's.

At school (Lorndale High) the boys meet up with Sarah, Johns long time girlfriend. As she began to say hi, she begins to fumble her books, but John saw it about to happen and ran up and caught her books with one hand. "Thanks", she says to him, smiling. As soon as she said it, a pigheaded senior jock smacked her books out of her hands.

"Ooops, my bad, I didn't see you there," he announces as he and his three amigos travel through the Sarah, John, Philip cluster. All of them laughing obscenely to his rudeness.

John helped pick up Sarah's books with Philip as she scowled the hooligans, "Why I outta..." She began, but is interrupted by John.

"Now Sarah, you know we can't do anything. Isn't our place." He said to her with a smile.

"But, isn't it though," smiling ever so cutely from the right side of his face. Philip said as he began walking to his class.

John shook his head and walked alongside Sarah to their first period. "Trust me, the world isn't ready for us. Plus, we've got Camrea to misbehave, not us."

"Where is she?" Sarah asked.

"You know she doesn't like to be woken up in the morning, I left her a lunch, so she'll get here. I told her if she was going to live with me she had to attend school. Just didn't stipulate a time, lesson learned i suppose."

As the group disbanded, Philip one way and John and Sarah another, the bell rang for 1st period. Yet, there was still one student left behind. He walked into class after the bell had rung and the teacher shook her head.

"Will you have a seat Christopher. Your insistence to arrive 30 seconds after the bell rings annoys me."

Christopher quickly rebutted, "and yet you keep letting me in Ms. Hankshaw. Hmmm!" Taking a seat far in the back of the class.

"Just sit down Mr. Sharp."

"Whatever you say milady. "Placing his hands in his jacket on his lap.

A few students chuckled and Ms. Hankshaw's right eye squinted before facing the chalkboard. "If everyone could turn to page 59 in their books we can begin class."

Everyone with a book fumbled through their desks or backpacks and retrieved the book in question and quickly found the pages they recently left off on. Those that didn't talked amongst each other and tried not to look in her direction.

In Philips class, they were beginning to dissect a frog. Philip found his gag reflex wasn't that strong. Holding his mouth and a hand in the air, the teacher caught a glimpse of him in the corner of her eye.

"I'm positive you wish to be excused from this assignment today Mr. Angels."

Quickly nodding his head up and down but also side to size, Mrs. Dorty's eyes became quite quizzical.

"What exactly do you want Mr. Angels.?" As soon as she finished her question Philip began spewing out this slushy green vomit, that trailed behind him and in-between his legs and resting on his clothes as he tried to reach the trash can.

The teacher looked at him in disgust and just said, "Go clean yourself or go home."

It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...

E: I like it but the style is just a little too disjointed. The short snippet sentences work in certain moments, but there are so many that it doesn't feel like it's flowing as well as it could be. I really like the plot and plan to continue. That is just meant as a little form of feedback. Thanks for ...
