Alodie had swept back her long, wavy hair with a green claw clip, and her white knitted jumper kept her arms warm. Reggie was wearing black jeans with a belt that didn’t quite match, his short blonde hair gelled back tight.
Alodie and Reggie were 17 and they spent every second together. So them lying on the grass was nothing new. This was their everyday, under the fluffy clouds and under the sun that forever shone. They were normal teens. Nobody really.
So why was this specific day so significant?
Because although neither of the young lovers knew it, this would be the last day of its kind.
