Summary

Buzzing pierces through my hearing aid as I stare out at my city, the once busy streets of New York crumble and fall as fire and explosions go off. Semi Silent booms go off, Debris and dust float about as wind smack around my hair as I stare wide eyed at the things falling from the sky. Those things are ships as people run and scramble to get away as the ships fire beams. My once peaceful home turns into dust and chaos.

Chapter 1 PART ONE

Chapter One - Alya

I hold my books to my chest as I run down the busy sidewalk, dodging people and squeezing through the bodies. I apologize as I bump and push.

I knew I should have stayed near the campus, but it was a sale, and I couldn’t miss it. 'Sip and read' is a coffee and bookshop I’ve been visiting lately, and today was a fifty percent off sale I couldn’t miss.

Groaning at my stupidity, I’m about to miss my last class of the day. Mr. Harper hates people who are late and shows no mercy, rather you’re a straight A student or not. He drops Grades as fast as he Fails students.

And I can’t afford to fail his class, I need it to graduate and get my degree in teaching. Almost reaching the steps to the subway, my body almost topples over as a strong gust of wind shoves my body forward.

Turning I look back as my eyes widen, buzzing pierces through my hearing aids as I stare out at my city, the once busy streets of New York crumble and fall as fire and explosions go off. Semi Silent booms go off, Debris and dust float about as wind smack around my hair as I stare wide eyed at the things falling from the sky.

Those things are ships as people run and scramble to get away as the ships fire beams. My once peaceful home turns into dust and chaos.

Tripping backward I land hard on my ass, I watch as the beams shoot down the tall standing buildings, fire spreads as concrete falls and crunches the people underneath.

Blood splatters the sidewalks and cars along with limbs and innards. A hard yank on my arm, looking over a frantic man pulls me up and helps me run away from the chaos.

He is screaming but his lips are moving too fast for me to read, and the noise is too loud for my aids to try and hear him correctly.

And even if it weren’t for the noise, I still wouldn’t be able to hear him, most words or sounds are muffled and drowned. But I have enough common sense to guess what the person is saying.

The ground shakes, looking back my heart drops to ass. The beams are hitting people, one missed us and hit the street beside us. I am shoved away as a beam hits the man; he disintegrates instantly.

A sob crawls up my throat as I crawl toward a dumpster, forgetting the books I hide behind it. Hugging my legs I close my eyes and drown out the already drowned background.

I don’t know how long the ground shake and dirt and dust fell on me, I continued to cling to my legs hiding behind them. Hours must have passed before everything went silent, or I assumed. Looking up from my legs, my heart freezes.

Tall long legs stand before me, covered in a white tight spandex like material. A dark purple tail curls and curls as its lilac purple tuff sways gently. Something glimmers as the sun touches it, but it disappears as soon as it appears.

Four long fingers and a long thumb grasp my attention through my blurred vision. Dark purple skin covers the appendages, the hand stops as I look up.

Two dark black eyes stare into my soul, along with the eyes is a short nose, plump lips with fang like teeth, it looks like it is speaking, but all I hear is static. It tilts its head. Its hair sweeps to the side, one side is buzzed down as a pointy ear is set free.

I look down to see a medium sized chest, its arms crossed over underneath its chest as its hip cocks to the side. My vision blurs before darkness takes me.

????? p.o.v (Point Of View)

The human eyes roll to the back of its head before the body slumps, I shake my head. Pathetic, I’m surprised this race has lived as long as it has. Not only are they behind in technological advancement, but they are also behind in coexisting with their planet without polluting it. It’s a shame we haven’t come and eradicated their existence sooner.

Looking down at the tiny female I debate rather I should end its life but thinking. I smile and reach down. It’s been a while since we last had a pet. The Ulna race is good as pets, but I’ve grown tired of them, it was fun Yes, taking their planet and using their resources. Enslaving the inhabitants, keeping the young and training them as we fucked the women and killed off the males. Now with the race dying off, I think the human race will be good as a replacement.

Pulling a disk off my belt, I throw it forward as it expands. Growing into a ball it opens as I pick up the light creature and throw it on the cushion. Closing it hovers as I start to walk back toward my ship. Seeing Unk, I shout out a sharp and simple command. “Catch which humans you want. Send word out! Only one human can be taken! Destroy the rest!” Nodding he turns and yells my command to the others.

Soon word will spread. Walking upon my ship I hum, tail swaying happily. My husband will love the gift.

A/N: Thank you for picking up this book, I really appreciate you for wanting to read it! I'm also super excited to finally be writing on this platform. I've written on Wattpad, Lutionary, A03(mostly fanfics), and a little on tumbler. I don't know why I was nervous with writing on this platform but now I'm grabbing my fear by the balls and yanking them down as I take the pain of either absolutely rejection of this book (getting no reads and people hating it) or the bliss of having everyone enjoy and want more. I don't know only time can tell... So, I hope you enjoy if you decided to continue to read my work, it's a little.... interesting.
