“Jasper saw me kissing someone.”
“Mr. Tattoos?” Quinn questioned and I quickly looked at her.
“How-”
“Gossip queen may I remind you,” she said. “I notice things even when you don’t want me to.”
“Who’s Mr. Tattoos?” Gavin asked, completely lost.
“His name is Preston.”
“So, Jasper caught you kissing Preston?” Quinn asked.
“He kissed me,” I countered as if that made a difference.
“Same shit,” she waved off dismissively. “A kiss is a kiss. Doesn’t matter who kissed who.”
“Well, he did kiss me and yes Jasper saw us.”
“Do you like him?” Gavin asked and it was still a question I wasn’t prepared to answer.
“I don’t know,” I said. “No one knows that I’m gay,” I finally expressed and suddenly felt lighter as I continued. “And I didn’t want Jasper to know because he’s my best friend.”
I wasn’t expecting the first person or two that I would actually confess my sexuality to was going to be these two, but they seemed trustworthy. Correction. Gavin seems trustworthy. Quinn is the gossip queen so I might regret telling her.
“So do you actually like Jasper?” Gavin asked.
