About My x-Reader Series
My x-Reader Series is a collection of short stories and novellas written in second person point of view with the reader as the main character. Many feature the hurt/comfort trope in one way or other.
I try to write the reader as neutral as possible in gender, looks, hair texture etc., but I tend to make them slightly feminine, and often more petite than the love interest. They also nearly always have a backstory which makes them something in between an OC and a reader insert.
I always refer to the reader as “you”.
The depth of this story makes it impossible to move on. Every scene, every emotion, every silence feels alive. You’ve turned heartbreak into art, and pain into poetry. I can feel how much love and effort went into every line. Your words don’t just tell a story they heal, they hurt, they stay. You’re not an author; you’re an experience.
