Chapter 1 Tortured
Tight ropes, dark room, faucet dripping, and dusty floor. Rose's hands were bound by tightly knotted ropes. Rose once again examined her surroundings. That was what she was here for, for the investigation of this place, from the CSC (Central Safety Center). To research for that team about whether or not this woman was keeping victims in her basement but it looked like...
The door slammed open and there came the smirking woman with the same knife that she had been using to threaten Rose for almost about a week. Rose would never forget the shape and structure of this knife, by now it had been engraved into her mind. But it was no use... all of Rose's methods were useless because...
Rose winced hard when the long black straight-haired woman tightened her ropes more:
"Please...I can't take this anymore."
Rose begged while looking at the woman in front of her with her pleading eyes but the black hair woman paid her no attention and resumed examining the ropes:
"I know you are not bad at all because I would have been hit by now but that is not the case.."
Rose did not finish speaking when she got hit hard across the face making her lips burst into bleeding. Everything happened so suddenly that Rose didn't have time to analyze the situation or neither had the time to analyze the woman's expression on her face in front of her. Rose's gaze went down and a sob left from her. More tears and more tears escaped from her eyes and she could not stop sobbing anymore:
"Instead of trying to observe your surroundings again and again. Try observing your kidnapper."
The woman said in a strict voice while frowning. Rose did not reply. She could not bring herself to reply. All the energy she had mustered up to deal with the woman in front of her was gone now. All of Rose's efforts were useless because this woman in front of her had no other victims hidden except for Rose herself. This Research plan came out to be a total failure. Death was near, Rose could feel it. Everything inside her was slowly giving up. Or maybe it was the trick of life.... maybe she still had hope in living her life freely again. Rose felt the ground spin underneath and her eyes fluttered close, taking her into the hole of darkness and emptiness.
