Bouncing off the walls

"I need to know. Everything. My introduction to these worlds was through The Telepath. Intrigued by the story and then realizing that it was part of a storyline that spanned multiple books, I stopped reading and found book #1 The Huntress, and started reading the series in order. This the eleventh entry and I’m as captivated by the storyline now as I was in the beginning. The imagination to build one world is impressive but to build and successfully intertwine another world while not losing the characters from the original book that continue to have relevance, shows a dedication that few authors have. J. Michael Straczynski demonstrated it to perfection with Babylon 5 and this isn’t far behind. Most authors writing a series that has this many books usually suffer from diarrhea of the pen, resorting to repeating one of the original books but from another character’s point of view. Or they wander off on tangents and characters that have nothing to do with the original storyline. Definitely not an issue with this series. Mystery, magic, different worlds, interesting characters, romance, royalty, humor, action, and dare I say ethical and societal issues? What more could a reader want? Other than the next book as soon as possible. I’m grateful that most of the books were written before I discovered the series because the suspense is aging me faster than Limburger in the hot sun."
