THE UNFINISHED ENDING
Will I ever be enough? Will I ever discover happiness and find true contentment within myself? Not even God knows the answer to that. I find myself condemning my choices and regretting the mistakes I’ve made along the way. Yet, amid this turmoil, I can say with unwavering certainty that I will never regret choosing you. So here I stand, declaring my devotion: I choose you above everything else, and if it comes to it, I will continue to choose you an infinite number of times. I mean every word with a depth of sincerity that blooms like a freshly opened rose, fragrant and vibrant, a testament to the love that resides in my heart.

“Why is it that you love me with such intensity? What have I possibly done to be worthy of you? Will I ever have the privilege of holding you near, as I have always desired? Will that moment ever come?” These words remain unuttered, dwelling in his thoughts, as a single tear escapes from his right eye, swiftly succeeded by another from the left.

Seeing his tears, she feels the depth of his pain and inner turmoil, and she can’t bear it any longer. As she turns to walk away, deciding to part from him, she softly says, “I have always loved you, I still do, and I always will.”

After she walked away, he collapsed to the ground, finally releasing the last of his tears.
She halts abruptly, turns around, and with eyes sharp enough to split a mountain in two, speaks with piercing intensity.
“I need to tell you this—I really do. I will never give up on us, never. I can’t. Not for our sake, not for anyone’s. I just can’t. So, brace yourself, because you’re stuck with me—forever. And yes, I mean forever. Don’t even think about running away from me.” She said it all with an expression that was beyond words.

He looked at her with a faint hint of fear in his eyes, something she didn’t miss. That look silenced
the endless questions about where their love would ultimately lead.
Then she turns and leave without looking back.
To some, their love may look like a melancholic song, to others, like a poisonous snake in the Garden of Eve, and to some, well, just like the end of the world. But in reality, what do you expect from people who shouldn’t have met, yet still met, and fell in love to the point where you can’t even see the end to the level of love they hold for each other? Hmm, miracles do happen… and so their lives go on, the two with their never-ending love, in the midst of red wine.
