Summary

The bathroom door finally opens and I almost drop the clothes I'm holding. Kameron only has a towel wrapped around his waist, droplets of water dripping from his hair, down his chest, and disappearing underneath his towel. I try not to follow the path of one of the drops of water. It takes all of my self-control to look him in the eyes and no where else. I have a boyfriend. Remember him? "What do you what?" His voice is somehow even hotter. It's matured now. It's deep and a bit rough. "What does it look like? I need to shower." I say back, gesturing with the clothes I'm holding. "Shouldn't you be going to bed?" "I'm not a little girl anymore. I don't have a set bedtime." I narrow my eyes at him. He's always treated me like I'm his best friend's annoying little sister. "Yeah, I can tell." He suddenly says, suggestively running his eyes down my body. I try not to shiver from the feel of his eyes on me. I clear my throat to get his eyes back to mine. "You can move now." "Oh, can I?" He raises an eyebrow and I glare at him in return. "Relax, little girl, I'm messing with you." He rolls his eyes before walking past me. I can smell the scent of his body soap on him. Fresh, clean, and earthy with a hint of spice. I can’t help but glance behind me and watch him go into his room. I can already tell this vacation is going to be a disaster. - Not revised On Wattpad Dual POV

Chapter 1

"Scarlett, hurry up! We're going to be late!" My dad yells from downstairs. I'm currently sitting on my full suitcase, trying my hardest to pull the zipper shut. I groan in frustration when it wouldn't work.

"Grayson, help me!" I call out for my brother, knowing he's in his room next to mine. I continue to struggle, trying all different angles to try and pull the zipper closed.

"What now?" I hear from the doorway, seeing Grayson now standing there.

"Close this. I can't do it." I get up from the suitcase sitting on my bed. I see him roll his eyes before he walks over to it.

"You probably can't close it because you put too much stuff in here. It's only for a week and we have washing machines there." He says, being a smartass like usual.

"Shut up and close it." I glare at him.

"Say please." He smiles at me.

"Please." It's my turn to roll my eyes. I would argue, but we don't have enough time for that. He turns back to my suitcase and shoves the lid down. He closes it after a few tries.

"There. Need me to carry it too?" He asks. I know he's joking, but I take the offer anyways.

"Yes, actually. Thank you." I smile, walking out of the room before he could argue. I walk down the stairs to find my dad waiting in the kitchen and talking with my mom.

"Seriously Rose? That's what you're wearing?" My mom sends me a disapproving look. She always called me by my middle name.

"What? It's comfortable." I look down at my outfit which was all gray sweats. I hear her sigh but she doesn't say anything else. "I'll change when we get there, it's just for the plane ride." I roll my eyes.

After a few more minutes, when everything is packed in the car, we're finally on our way to the airport. We're headed to Colorado, landing in Denver around 8pm. From there, we'll drive to the house we rented for the week which is about an hour away from Denver.

Going to Colorado during summer break used to be our family tradition. We always went with another family. My dad is best friends with their dad, who is Timothy Sanchez. We just call him Tim. My mom is friends with their mom, Amelia. My brother's best friend is their oldest son, Kameron. Their daughter Audrey is my best friend. Finally, their youngest son is Colton, who we all love even though he can be annoying. I know, it's ironic that all our best friends happen to be in that one family. We just got lucky.

Anyways, we used to go to Colorado every summer break until I turned 12. That's when Tim lost his job due to the company shutting down. But now, with his new, secure job, we're able to continue the tradition 6 years later.

We made it to the airport and we already went through security. We're sitting in the waiting area next to our gate, all of us on our phones. We're supposed to meet the Sanchez's at the house when we land.

"We're now going to begin boarding." I hear the announcer say for our gate. Once we have our seats, I shoot a quick text to Austin, my boyfriend, that I'll call him later tonight when I'm unpacking.

After the flight attendants demonstrate all the safety features in the plane, we're now on the runway, the engines of the plane louder than ever. I feel the plane lift off of the ground, and I know we'll be in Colorado in a few hours.
