The guardian
"Good story, not your typical story about war and love, but it was interesting to read."
I want more
"Seriously, It’s a great story. So much could be fleshed out with more details and I really want to find out what happens next. However you told the story quite well, your descriptions were spot on."
Kinda weird but Good
"Love this story at first. The build up of characters is good too. Then it is not - like they are thinking too much - for what? The aliens also kinda weird without further explanation - where it came from? why? The guardian of earth? - don't get me start on that - please explain tho, at least the history of it? The hell scientist and aliens in cowboy kinda setup? The ending is the worst - an emperor and no fight? heck"
Great story
"Well written, no noticeable errors, smooth flow. Worth the read"
Unique story
"This story had it all. Aliens, strong characters, plot twists, magic and finally, hot sex. I hope this story will continue because I'm a fan."
Great story
"Love it. Felt that the story could continue. "
A gem
"I love the way the author has with words, the scenes and smells and feels feel so real, yet there is just enough omitted to let us imagine the rest. I love that this can be both fat future or past or some alternate world where fantasy meets Sci Fi. One of the best things I've read on here, by FAR"

"Very good. Loved reading this story, found the story line very compelling. Always happy when character, Lyra (beautiful name) developed into a strong confident person. And Dorian is true hero. I don't like the end however, how can the Emperor think Dorian should be "grateful for his service" and Lyra is his subject, no! Bully. Please keep on writing, very much enjoyed this tale. Thank you."
The Guardian
"Excellent! This was just a wonderful read. I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait for a sequel!!!"
The Guardian
"Interesting plot. Lots of unanswered questions. Who are the aliens? What do they look like? How long have they been on this world? Was the little alien a member of their species? What happened to Lyra's mother? Was she chosen simply because she had that dagger? And there are other questions."
Love and War
"Very different and unique storyline. The setting read like the Middle Ages with sword wielding warriors but all the battles are with aliens. I see it composed of three sections, all starring Lyra. ✒︎ Lyra, the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy Lord, was a mistreated and abused maid on her father's estate. He used her for his pleasure while the Lady of the estate was abusive. While cleaning basement rooms for visiting warriors, she discovers a mysterious weapon, a dagger. ✒︎ Lyra leaves the estate with the warriors, well really one named Dorian. He sees her mistreatment and takes her away. While running the warrior's camp, she she encounters a strange little creature, not of this earth. Ahh, he plays a big role in Lyra discovering who and what she will become. That dagger is important. ✒︎ Lyra gains other worldly power, strength, wisdom and confidence... and a love life. 🤔 This story leaves a lot of gaps that need filled, so I see the need for a sequel. ... The emperor won't just back down. ... Lyra's father, the Lord and his Lady need put in their place. ... Dorian's and Lyra's adventures need to bloom. We get a taste of their power in this book, but together they could be a super duo saving the world."
